It's Dennis Time - Under The Sofa

A few years ago, someone found a Beano hidden under his sofa! Click the link below to find out more in this old article from Newsround:

School Of Roars Activity Time - Monster Post - Writing Letters

Today it's all about letter writing. Why don't you let your child write a letter to Wufflebump or one of their monster friends from School Of Roars telling them how they're getting on with their school days, or one of your favourite CBeebies or CBBC friends? Click the link below to view this guide to writing a letter:

Factory's Ticklish Response!

I got my first email reply back from Jo at Factory! It seems that she happened to like my 'Tickle Time' short, and here's what she wrote:

"I loved the way you used the tickling game to draw your characters away
from their solitary pursuits and got them all interacting in a fun and
sensitive way. I also love the way you placed your self in that world.

Are you going to make this animation? I'd love to see it when its done
(or even just a part of it) Keep up the writing. I think you have so
many great idea's.

We are making 'Scream Street' Series 2 at the moment. The National
Lockdown meant we had to shut down for a few months but now we are up
and running (wearing our face masks) The first 5 episodes were shown
around Halloween and we even had a piece in Blue Peter!"

Okay, okay, Blue Peter meant to put Scream Street on there two weeks ago - and WHEEEEEEESH, it was super fun! I'm going to respond to this email to see if there'll be an episode where the gang go swimming, and I'll send my scripts to Factory and other companies, such as Novel Entertainment and Coolabi. If you'd like to see the giggles all over again, read the script for Tickle Time here:

No Way!

The Go Jetters were featured as part of today's Bitesize programme? No way! CBBC once featured Mr Bloom in Marrying Mum & Dad when he helped to do a scarecrow wedding, and I've seen it all before! I bet the scarecrow wedding episode would be much better if they added an All Over The Place style rendition of Dingle Dangle Scarecrow.

Me, You, And...

Uh oh, Earthia's been killed by Rada! Never fear though, it'll take the skills and bravery of a young lioness cub to shoo the bad mane away...

I only did this script this morning because I've got Young Dracula to watch this afternoon. Lions taste more blood than vampires, you know! No offence to any vampire lovers.

Double Dreams

Part of last night's dream was all about the making of the The 'Hood episode 'We Haven't Even Gone Outside'. You see, Ludo wanted me to watch the Bluey episode 'Double Babysitter' to get inspiration for the episode. I haven't seen the new episodes of Bluey before, so it was a big first for me. I also got to meet Uncle Rad and Frisky, and I told Joe Brumm, creator of Bluey, that I was making a 'Hood episode starring Frisky, named 'It's My Party'. The episode title is named after a Clifford The Big Red Dog episode of the same name. I also saw last Sunday's Bluey episode 'Octopus', also known to me as 'Wiggles & Giggles', and after that I told Joe that 'Wiggles & Giggles' would revolve around Izzy looking after Bingo for the day and engaging in wiggly, giggly games. Make the dream come true by inserting wiggles, giggles, bedtime and pyjama parties into your child's life!
