The Winter Bus

Furaha and Orko were trundling home, riding in a bus which was free of jarring noise. No passengers were on board. The interior of the bus was mysteriously quiet, the outside window blurred by fog and a gentle, 3 times heavy, snowstorm. Orko looked out the window sadly, a mournful look on his concealed face. The rumbling of the bus fit the exact same feeling in his Trollan wizard tummy - gloom and loneliness.

Orko gently tapped Furaha awake as she was stirring from a nap. Furaha rubbed her cute glass eyes and sleepily turned her head to her best friend of a brother.

"What's wrong, Orko?" she reassuringly yawned as she rubbed eye grit out of the corners of her adorable puppy dog eyes.

"Nothing's wrong," said Orko, a lot calmer than he should've been, a trembling feeling in his tummy, "But what I meant to say is, I was lonely on Eternia. Lonelier than I could've ever been - all because He Man and Teela and Man At Arms bullied me. But now that I've found you, I have to admit: the warmth of friendship beats the hardness of violence from another world any day."

And with that, Orko magicked up a warm, thick fleece blanket and two steaming mugs of hot cocoa and the two siblings wrapped up warm, sighing contentedly, delighted to have found the cosiness among the cold.
