4 Self Care Tips From Gordon & Chloe

  • Stories don't matter now. Just notes from your imagination
  • Rub in some lotion and inhale the soft scents that are packed into it.
  • Look for the quiet in the loud.
  • Instead of It Was Alright In The '70s, watch 100 Greatest Kids' Shows and 100 Greatest Cartoons instead.
You'll thank this Aquanaut and his little friend later.

The Rise Of The 100

I gather with Lady Penelope, Parker, Danger Mouse, Penfold, Dougal, Florence, Zebedee and Ermintrude to watch Channel 4's 100 Greatest Cartoons. Among all the strange and weird cartoons featured are Danger Mouse and The Magic Roundabout, so Danger Mouse puts his thinking cap on to find out why - with Penfold's help of course.

Udu's Dance

What's new in my music palette?
This song of course!

You know, I couldn't stop listening to this song when I was out with my support worker today. It reminded me of The Story Makers' Tales From Far Away segments, where tales from all over the world are told in various forms of puppetry, like the donkey one featured in the VHS 'Park & Other Stories', which is told through shadow puppetry.

Aside from that, I had a pretty sickening day today. My support worker had to go to the toilet two times today - but thank god he didn't go to get any nappies, because I'm not, as Horrid Henry calls his brother Perfect Peter, a 'smelly nappy baby'. Nappies are really reserved for his baby daughter anyway. In the meantime, we got my favourite caramel hot chocolate from the Co-Op. I wanted to show my support worker my poems I wrote this morning - one about me and Penelope, the other based on 100 Greatest Cartoons. Unfortunately, Nine Lives contains distressing subject matter involving characters Droopy and Roger Rabbit which might be too upsetting for those who grew up with these characters.

Anyway, we took a drive, and it made me so woozy we went home, and I crashed out in bed. Simple as that, I'd imagine.

Hong Kong Phooey ain’t the real star,

The Snowman ain’t real either,

Captain Pugwash is named for being rude

And Flik got eaten by Fiver

Top Cat’s owners got run over by a car,

Bambi coped with death too (you all know how!)

Foghorn Leghorn no longer stutters

And Snow White has mad cow

The Powerpuff Girls are tired of plain’

Baloo and Mowgli are a gay couple

While Lumiere overthrows Belle,

And Chihiro’s life is under a rock!

Simba is chained by his neck in the zoo

Brian and Stewie have stolen the show

With Bo Peep, Woody was flirty!

Oh my god, they killed Kenny,

And Tom & Jerry are in love with each other.

The Simpsons are number one, top dog,

So I guess that’s the end, oh brother.

So the next time you see any of these toons,

Just remember this, my friends:

These toons all have a cat’s nine lives

You never know where they may end.
