Sounds Of The Sea

Lady Penelope and I went deep into the forest, away from the cave where we lived in. We were heading to the beach to find some food to see us through until the month after. When my legs got tired at one point, Lady Penelope carried me on my shoulders towards our destination: a beautiful hue of golden sand and bright blue water.

Passed down from the generations, Lady Penelope placed her handprint in the soft sand, and I copied her softly and gently. When we went out onto the beach, I saw mummy digging in the sand for clam shells which spit water. I tried to join her too, and she giggled when she saw me trying to dig like her. Later, as I wandered onto the beach, I found something so beautiful it was too unthinkable to put into words: a beautiful pale pink shell. I put my ear to the shell, and so far, I could hear the majestic sounds of the ocean through it. I called, "Mummy! Come and see this!" Penelope came running towards where I was at, and saw the shell. She explained to me, "This is a very special shell. If you listen closely, you can hear the sea. It's always been rumoured to be like this."

We both put our ears to the seashell together and listened carefully. Sure enough, we could hear the waves splashing against the shore, majestic and grand, like an eagle waiting to catch its prey. It was the most wonderful sound I have ever heard, and yet Penelope too had never heard a tranquil sound like this either. It was so beautiful, we could listen to it all day.

ROLEPLAY: The Greatest TV Of The '60s

Hey hello! Have you heard? Thunderbirds IS featured as part of Channel 5's Greatest TV Of The '60s! Lady Penelope, Parker and I are so busy getting ready for International Rescue's grand return to the documentary format that we barely had time to focus on other subjects too, mainly Dad's Army, Steptoe & Son, Blue Peter and Doctor Who. Unfortunately, I tried to make Thunderbirds the first thing these hellish interviewees discuss during the first segment of the special, but they had to do Coronation Street instead. Bummer.

But wait - as far as I have heard, Thunderbirds was also featured as part of the 50 Greatest Kids' Shows documentary broadcast on Channel 5 last decade. Channel 5 shows so much respect for mummy, Parker and me that sometimes they forget about a certain pig who ripped off a dog called Duggee.

In the meantime....
DUGGEE HUG!
