This sticker book is a lot more fun than the previous one I wanted to do, which had its back coming right off.
My favourite one of these characters is a mouse whose boot fell off. I think I'd name him 'Teddy'.
Would highly recommend for anti boredom moments such as a rainy day or a hot day indoors.

Today Lulu and I are going out with our babysitter Ripple - she's a laid back surfer dude, you can tell by her blue fur and the huge amount of surfboards she keeps in her house by the beach. She always spoils us and it is nice to visit the toy shop whenever we want, and visit the outdoor pool every Summer.

Today, Lulu and I want three things each from the shops - no matter how many times Ripple spoils us, we know it'll be so much fun! Here's my list, three things each:

Magnetic Mix & Match Jungle Animals

I absolutely loved playing with the Magnetic Mix & Match Jungle Animal toys! The moment I opened the box, I was already giggling—these animals are wild in the best way. The magnets are strong enough to hold the parts together securely, but not so strong that little hands (or mine, I’ll admit!) can’t pull them apart and swap them around easily.

The best part? Creating the silliest animal combos imaginable. A giraffe head on crocodile legs with a tiger belly? Yes, please! Each piece is chunky and colorful, perfect for toddlers—but honestly, I had just as much fun as any 2-year-old would.

What I really appreciated is how the set encourages creativity and storytelling. I found myself giving each silly creature a personality and coming up with mini adventures for them. The quality feels solid and the plastic is smooth and safe to handle—no sharp edges.

These toys would be a hit at any playdate or quiet afternoon, and they’re great for developing motor skills and a sense of humor. I’m already eyeing up the dinosaur or vehicle versions for next time!

If you’re looking for a toy that sparks giggles, creativity, and hours of mix-n-match fun, this one’s a keeper.

Space Precinct: Believe In Yourself

Cloudgazing

Lady Penelope and I were lying in the long grass one warm, quiet Spring afternoon, doing a spot of cloudgazing. There was something special about just lying there, imagining a whole world above us, where clouds are formed with every shape they make.

But there's a hitch: while Penelope was good at pointing out elegant, beautiful shapes that form in the sky, I pointed out playful ones. So, while Penelope pointed out a ribbon, a swan and a blanket of silk, I pointed out a monkey, a lion and a crocodile. Penelope wasn't the least bit annoyed by my cloud spotting ways, and chuckled at my suggestions.

We liked to stretch our toes out - and our arms - and lie there, enjoying the bright Spring sunshine. The smell of fresh dew filled the air as we lay, admiring the wonders our world had to bring, from the tiniest ant to the largest tree. At last, Penelope saw me yawning, and I shut my eyes and fell asleep. She took me in her arms and carried me back to our cave for a peaceful night's rest.
