Questions Of The Sea Woman's Daughter

Mummy, I can't crack this shell!
I'll help you, here we go.
Well done, you're doing well.
There's a nice bit of fish inside this shell.

Mummy, the water's tickling my toes!
That's because the water tells
We're raised in the wild, you and me
The water is our family sea

Mummy, how soft is the sand?
Feel it, touch it with a warm hand
Many grains, gold as can be
Are softened like my bare skin by the sea

Mummy, do you love me so?
I'll love you more than you ever know
I love you like we have survived
And lived on the wild beach all our lives.
