Bill

I stopped watching this film because it's way too long for my taste, but I enjoyed it while I still can. The life and times of Bill "William" Shakespeare told in a vibrant and exciting way for your approval is now available to see right here on iPlayer! And on this blog. Did you know Ragdoll Productions was set up in William Shakespeare's hometown? I know that, and you should know too. This film appropriately aired after Horrible Histories, so the less-flashy retelling of Shakespeare's life is yours to see!
"Bill!" "WHAAAAT?!"

When You Work Hard Just Before Bathtime...

Protesting With Pankhurst

WARNING: Do not watch if you have epilepsy!
The new Horrible Histories specials are telling lies to us. LIES, I TELL YOU, LIES! But what's important is that after the George Floyd incident Horrible Histories has the right to interrogate black people into their history, so the bits on Martin Luther King can make perfect timing for what black classmates have to learn from these days. And why is the host live-action? The host in the last episode was a strapping young Victorian chimney sweep! Why the hell do you make these kinds of decisions?!

A Little Word Of Advice From Elmo...

Breastfeeding A Black Calf?!

There had been a report on the news about how people are becoming short sighted due to their time in lockdown, so going outside can reduced short-sightedness. After a bizarre nap dream where I had a transplant with an octopus, I woke up, got dressed and went outside into the garden. In the field nearby, I saw a cream cow breastfeeding a black calf, and I tried to look into the distance to see the caravan site. I sat on the bench and thought my most intriguing thoughts, while listening to the sounds of nature. I'm doing this in the next couple of days, especially when Jane comes, so I'm closer to nature.

Here are more ways to get closer to nature, especially if you don't want to be short sighted.

Not So Scary Films For Toddlers

Winnie The Pooh is one of the many characters that appear on this list of toddler films, as well as Peanuts, The Gruffalo, Daniel Tiger, Curious George, Stellaluna and Lotte From Gadgetville. I should've posted it when I first found it, but now it's time I shared it with you.

World Photo Day? Piece Of Cake!

I found this latest quiz on the CBBC website yesterday and it's really easy to do, because you get to write in the answer to the photos taken from CBBC shows. Some are really hard, but don't worry, at least you'll get it right this time.
