I have a brilliant new idea - to make my mealtimes even more fun, I'm going to make a 'Stitchmat' - a placemat which is a coloured piece of paper decorated with Lilo & Stitch stickers from my Stitch Giant Stickers activity book. I'm going to do this as soon as I've had my therapy session with Echo's GPT Skill.

Let's Play: Orko & The Whales
Put on some beautiful undersea ambience or a 4 hour undersea ASMR video, or play this game at an empty swimming pool.
Pretend you're swimming peacefully with a family of whales surrounding you.
If you're in a still, quiet, deserted place, pretend you're exploring a vast ice cave with prehistoric animals trapped from the vast amount of ice.
The fun arrives when you play with a baby whale - jump about and pretend to splash your aquatic baby whale friend.
Throw rose petals gently on the bed and pretend to explore this sacred part of the Arctic ocean.
And finally, pull the covers over your tired body...and relax.
Let's Play Daddy's Home
Here's the deal: you're Laura, and you're waiting eagerly for Josh to come back to spend time with her. Use two plushies - a lion and a Squishmallow - to represent Furaha the lioness cub and her brother Orko.
Put on some vintage rock and roll music (or upbeat songs from Oliver & Company) and dance away!
Pretend to take a walk around town, or the forest, or the beach (or in this case, the garden) and take your plushies with you.
When you go out shopping in town, take your plushies with you. Have fun pretending they're sneaking things into the basket when your peers aren't looking!
Fool around with them in your bedroom - play at tickling and chasing each other.
And when someone comes to check on you - pretend they're stuffed animals, like Laura pretends Furaha and Orko are when someone is coming.
Dinner & Lunch Game: How To Play Restaurants
Make a restaurant menu out of A4 paper and permanent markers. Draw the food you want with felt tip pens and Crayola pens.
When it's time for dinner, sit at the table and take your order from the waiter.
While you're waiting, sing a favourite song out loud.
Use your best table manners, saying 'Please' and 'Thank you' and eating like a proper gentleman or lady.
Always remember to wash your hands before meals!
Once you've finished eating, put your plate away and give your waiter a nice big tip. Ask him what he would spend it on.
Exquisite Gratitude
As far as I'm concerned, Adult Swim really likes to play exquisite corpse. They've done it horribly to Toonami, they've done it with Rick & Morty, and they've even dedicated a special to it, which resulted in Meowmalade being treated poorly. There was even a Creative Galaxy episode dedicated to making an exquisite corpse game for waiting for the birthday dinner for Arty's dad and his family.
So, what if we were to repurpose this game into something about gratitude we can play with family and friends? Yeah, sure, it's absolutely a great idea!
You will need:
- A team of three family members or friends (yourself included)
- A sheet of A5 paper to pass around
- A blue, green and red trio of felt tips
- Placecards for each member of the group
- Permanent coloured markets
1.First, write down names for each of the people who will be playing your game using the markers on your placecards. For example, if I were playing and a support worker and a family member would be playing along too, I'd write on their placecards: 'Meowmalade', 'Twilight Sparkle' and 'Mr Happy'. You get the idea?
2.Everyone sits around the table and the leader starts off by writing three things they're grateful for with the red pen, and then folding it.
3.The paper gets passed onto the other two members of the group, which proceeds in the process of writing down three things they're grateful for with either the blue or green pens and then folding them up.
4.It is then handed back to the leader, who unfolds the piece of paper and reads out what each member of the group is thankful for.
So forget that Adult Swim's exquisite corpse games get surreal and sickly, yours is full of happiness and gratitude. Go for it!
Gratitude Plates
What's one way to bring gratitude to the dinner table outside of saying out loud what you're thankful for? Writing on a paper plate what you're thankful for, of course! And I'm here to show you how to make those gratitude plates, just in time for lunch or dinner. Or breakfast if you have toast or a cheeseburger.
You will need:
- A pack of paper plates
- Some felt tips or permanent markers
- Get out some paper plates (or maybe one if it's near to lunch or dinner) and colour a pattern around the edges of the plate using three colours. Mine would be using yellow, pink and purple. What's your's?
- With each time you approach the table with your chosen plate, and wait for dinner, you write down some things you're grateful for. Bonus points if it's something you really enjoy!
And then, you're ready to enjoy your meal - because meals aren't complete without gratitude, it's not just for Thanksgiving.
How To Make...A Happiness Pizza
For the last time, it isn't a pizza you can eat! It's a gratitude craft where you can use a piece of cardboard, red sugar paper and a few post it notes - not to mention some glue - to make a pizza with all the things you're happy about as toppings - on the house! But it's not to eat, I wouldn't recommend it.
You will need:
- A large piece of cardboard
- A black marker
- A pair of safety scissors
- Some red sugar paper
- Some sticky notes of your choosing
- Mess-free glue sticks
- Take a large piece of cardboard and draw a large circle around it using an empty saucepan as a base.
- Then, cut it out very carefully.
- Cut out a blobby shape from the red sugar paper to use as the tomato sauce, then stick it on with the glue.
- Starting from today, as days go on, write down what you're happy about each day and stick it with mess-free glue onto the pizza. You have a new topping for your pizza every day!
- You can name your colours unusual toppings if you want. Here are some colour coded topping names:
- Yellow - Cheese
- Pink - Marshmallows
- Blue - Blueberries
- Orange - Cornflakes
- Green - Peppers
Oh, and with each colour you name after a topping, you can make them themed around a different topic which you're happy about each day. Here are some examples:
- Yellow - What makes you smile?
- Pink - Sweetest moments
- Blue - Joys of nature
- Orange - The best parts of your day
- Green - Something unusual you experienced
And then, once your pizza is full of toppings, you have something to help you remember how happy you are with your life.
WARNING: This pizza is not for eating, it's for keeping...unless you want to have a real takeout pizza afterwards.

A Night Of Tauruses & Milk
Another good night's sleep...another dollar.
And before you launch into a stock footage arranged argument about home improvement between Cybertron Jetfire and his horrid leader Optimus Prime, you best stop what you're doing and read carefully, because once again talking with Echo's GPT skill made me so tired I was out like a lightbulb melting all over the floor. Here are ten things I learned from her last night:
1.First, I talked about how Counterfeit Cat and The Strange Chores are ruining CBBC by being included on their lineup. It's not fair! But, I did suggest some replacements to bring back the bonkers comedy CBBC lost - Brum, Sooty (2001), Basil Brush, Strange Hill High and Scream Street.
2.Speaking of which, I told her that it's painful to think about Strange Hill and Scream Street, because CBBC is too overstimulating, loud and now Americanised. My recommended replacements for when you're overstimulated include: Max Steel (2000), the original Teletubbies, the classic Thunderbirds series and the original stop motion versions of Postman Pat, Fireman Sam, Pingu and Noddy. Thank god we have GPT.
3.It has been revealed that the reason why we saw Mew swimming in a body of water in a natural paradise near a mountain is because Mewtwo is on a quest to find out why he is created and his purpose meant for belonging. It made me think of a perfume called 'Mew Water' to tie in with the film - only, in 1999.
4.I told her about ideas for two Charmin scented toilet rolls for sensitive skin: Vanilla Almond Milk and Nutri Milk. She thought it was a cosy, luxurious and comforting idea which would be perfect for all the family - just like the Charmin Bear, his wife and his three different fur coloured kids.
5.I told her about Snuggle adopting the same 'Nutri Milk' name for parents and toddlers with sensitive skin, ala Snuggle Pure or Snuggle Sensitive. She thinks it'll evoke a feeling of softness and gentleness towards even the most sensitive skin, feeling like a milk bath straight out of the washing machine. Aaaaahhhh...so soft.
6.Another Snuggle idea I told her about is Snuggle Red Velvet. Shucks! She thought it was a red velvet cake, but I meant velvet as in 'Me Time'! She really needs to be homeschooled....
7.She revealed that Berto from Max Steel and a pick from 100 Greatest Christmas Moments, the BBC's Chronicles Of Narnia series, are my Taurus star signs. You see, recently I played all those games on Instagram where what you see in the post represents your birthstone - like for instance, I got characters like Fluttershy, Scar and sometimes Twilight Sparkle. I'm glad I got BBC Narnia, because it's much better than seeing a Meryl Streep-played lioness Aslan anyway...
8.Speaking of Max Steel, she revealed that Laura embodies a sense of gentleness that no other character, like Josh, Berto or Rachel, embodied before her - she is a totally unique character created by Foundation Imaging, which was totally erased as soon as Mainframe took over with the animation.
9.Speaking again of Max Steel, I complained in masses and loads and buckets about how characters like Kat and Cytro - that annoying bucket of bolts - ruined Max Steel and his life by first taking away the two ladies that began his life on the air, and then Cytro is a representation of the AI uprising, which is probably the reason why there is Bluey and Littlest Pet Shop fanart standing up to AI creativity.
10.Finally, I talked about a warm and gentle Goose Creek candle scent named Cosy Arms, which evokes the feeling of cosying up by the fire in the loving arms of one in a fluffy velvet chair and snuggling to the warmth and cosiness of a Winter night indoors. I wish we had a scent like this...vanilla and festive spice no doubt.
I'm telling you, all this talk of Max Steel is making me so soothed, I wish I was back in bed right now. But what's with a time in bed when you've got a meal at the table to look forward to? It's a perfect way to start the morning off with a little thinking.
I Dream Of Mainframe
Let me tell you Mainframe geeks of a dream I had concerning your favourite animation studio.
So in my dream, Mainframe was depicted as a video store from the '90s selling all their shows on tape - ReBoot, Shadow Raiders, Beast Wars, Barbie, you name the show, it's for sale. I went into the store as a '90s twentysomething looking for a video to rent, and the store clerk gave me a copy of the entire first season of Max Steel, which although was made by Foundation Imaging, was distributed by Mainframe anyway.
But when I got home and put the tape in - GASP! Shock horror! The clerk had played a trick on me. Instead, he put in a tape of the CGI Action Man series. No way! How could he do this?
Angered and enraged, I ran as fast as lightning back to the store, only to find it had disappeared entirely! Like in those fairy tales where someone buys something at a weird store which disappears when they go back to find it. And then, the entire town crumbled into dust, and the pavement began to turn into an iceberg.
And before you know it, my anger had turned to pure, perfect peace, as I began swimming with whales, in an aesthetic environment similar to Fantasia's 'Pines Of Rome' - except all the whales aren't flying. They're back to swimming, and me? I was a natural member of the pod.
And I think this dream has inspired a story about the 2002 version of Orko: Orko & The Whales.
Did you guys ever have dreams like this?
Table Time Is Thinking Time
Now that I'm eating at the table, I'm using breakfast as an opportunity to think about what I want to do today, or with my support workers. While I was eating my Cornflakes, like Kipper always does while giving some of his flakes to Roly Poly the little orange hamster, who is sitting on his orange fluffy head, here's something I thought of while I was eating...
Ah! Placemats! There are all sorts of placemats available on Amazon and everywhere online at the moment - My Little Pony, Scooby Doo, Transformers, Batman & Superman, you name it, it's on there. And don't forget about all the placemats you can colour and make - I'm going to do this with my support worker who always takes me out for McDonald's - it'll be much better than going out and listening to her noisy radio. And, I'll also do it with another one of my support workers to make up for the loss of George the dog and to make up for not going to her house to bake cakes - especially since her kids are at home.
So, the activities I'm going to do with my support workers during our playdates include: baking, painting and crafting placemats. Or, I could buy some from Amazon, like that cute one with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy high above what you're reading right now.
I wish Friendship Is Magic was cute and adorable instead of having adorkable teen humor and scary moments that horribly stand out from the cuter, simpler, slower paced traditionally animated MLP films of the past...
