Disney Channels Memorial

We're here today to say goodbye to the greatest channels in the history of the UK beside CBBC and CBeebies: Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD. They provided magic, mischief and mouse ears for all of us, along with lessons to live by and characters to love, but most of all, favourite things besides Disney films.

First, Disney Channel is known for its lively content and lovely cartoons, which I should've seen in my childhood. My favourite programmes on there are Good Luck Charlie, which I love because of the surreal things that happen during the end credits, and Mighty Med, because so much goes on in the background that you completely forget to focus on the main characters. I also love the original films, like the surreal ones like ones based on books featuring aliens, leprechauns and monsters and the such.

Disney Junior...this is a heartwarming one. It had such lovely programmes, even as Playhouse Disney. I used to see Playhouse Disney as a kid, and the best moment of this era is seeing the Winnie The Pooh episode 'All's Well That Ends Wishing Well' because of Wishland - a place of wishes only invented by a child's imagination and all the things Tigger wishes for. Later on, when it became Disney Junior, the fun multiplied, and a blue dog was born - Bluey. She became my favourite of all the Disney Junior characters for her slice of life feel and unique premise, and now I have three things to remember her by: The 'Hood, ABC Kids and the alternate episode names I gave each episode earlier this year.

And as for Disney XD...let's say I preferred it as Jetix, like it normally was, because it contained great shows like Power Rangers, Sonic X, Digimon, Transformers and especially Pucca, which my mum loves.
I'm so upset Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD are leaving. I just wish they could wake up and keep it forever, but I wish Bluey would be on CBeebies.
I wish the Disney channels would end like the videos above. As we part from our true blue friend and her magical friends, we list the alternate names for Bluey episodes for the last time:

IT'S A MIRACLE! Now we can see videos at Grandma's, but until Monday I'll recreate the experience at home and share it with you!

My Favourite Pictures From Disney Junior's Twitter Page

"Even Factory was talking about the new series of Scream Street on their Twitter page!"

Noddy Y Dewin

This is the Welsh dub of Noddy, titled 'Nodi'. I just found it earlier, and in order to spell Nodi you take the first three words in Noddy's name and then add an I at the end. If you already discovered the Welsh dub of Fireman Sam I'd recommend you'd watch this.

KION: Going away? For how long?
MICKEY MOUSE: Forever. To Australia.

BLUEY: I'm sorry, everyone.

ROLLY: Bluey says she's been dreaming of Australia so she and her family are moving back today.
BLUEY: Wow!

MICKEY MOUSE: Bluey, what kind of questions do you think going back to Australia is going to answer?
BLUEY: What's the meaning of life? Why are we here?
MICKEY MOUSE: I hope you're making the right choice.

VAMPIRINA: I'm gonna miss her...I'm gonna miss Bluey and I...don't know how to tell her!

DONALD DUCK: How are going to go on, Mickey? Bluey was our....friend.

MINNIE MOUSE: And we will all miss you, Bluey, but we know you must do what your heart tells you.

ALL DISNEY JUNIOR CHARACTERS: Bye bye!/Goodbye!/See you later!/We'll miss you!/Bye, Bluey!
MICKEY MOUSE: Goodbye, Bluey! Send us cards about your time on ABC Kids!
BLUEY: Goodbye!

Don't forget to let your child write a old fashioned letter to either Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Kion, Miles, Doc, Sofia, Bingo, Rolly, the Muppet Babies and especially Bluey to tell them how much they miss them. Or check out the activities related to the Bluey episode 'Camping', especially the last activity, for more tips on how to cope with missing your friends. Or, you can write a letter to any TV character you miss to cope with their loss, including ones from both Disney Channel and Disney Junior with this bereavement letter sheet, and check out the Newsround special 'Gone' and learn how to cope with the loss of your loved ones, even if they are from the TV like Bluey.
