Pokemon Friendship Bracelets

In Volcanion & The Mechanical Marvel, Ash's Pokemon befriend the Pokemon of the valley. They should've given them friendship bracelets through all this fire ring-jumping, kissing and affection, and if you and your bestie are major Pokemon fans yourselves, you can make a Pikachu, or Charmander, or Bulbasaur, or Squirtle-themed/coloured friendship bracelets to unleash your inner Pokemon.

Then, to recreate the scene where the Pokemon run across the river to collect fruit while the other humans make cookies, you can make Pokemon cookies, ice cream and fruit smoothies and skewers to make sure Pokemon and humans all live in harmony at the next Pokemon Picnic Day.

Waltz Of The Rival Vampires

I've found a new piece of classical music from Erik Satie. Every time I listen to it, I imagine Alisa and Resus' rivalry, and how Alisa torments Resus for not being a proper vampire like he is in Scream Street, watches his every move and stares slyly at Resus at a masquerade ball, like in the beginning scene of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.

Stuff & Nonsense About Vampires!

"Singing vampires?! What nonsense."

It's true, this Friday before Kung Fu Panda Holiday I saw a music video which saw Alisa and the members of the Elisabetha sing their hearts in a Broadway-style performance. Now all of you reading may be laughing and pointing out, "Sybil, these vampires don't sing, they bite into people and suck their blood!" Tell that to Resus, he and his family find Heirs Of The Night offensive and disruptive to their taste, because he and Alisa used to be (im)mortal enemies since they were children. Alisa bullies Resus quite a lot, so since I found out Scream Street was returning on the 4th of January, I should make it up to Alisa through a letter saying that she'll forgive Resus at any time.

My favourite scene in tonight's episode, 'Freak', saw Alisa dive into the water and peacefully spend a few minutes under there before we go back to the Elisabetha. It's quite a sensual and soothing scene, and could make for a good moment for a CBBC chillout show. Watch the full episode here:

A Recipe For Pregnancy

Pregnancy can bring the hunger pangs on, especially after you've watched 'Backpackers', an episode of Bluey where it looks like Bluey, Bingo, Muffin and Socks are about to breastfeed from their parents. I've found this cool video with awesome music from 50 Days Of Bluey's 'Backpackers' section showing how to make croissants - perfect for when your hunger pangs strike during pregnancy or puberty. I bet Chilli made these when she was pregnant with Bluey, then Bingo!
And, when the baby is born, you can get tips on how to breastfeed your child:

Make Scooby Doo & The Goblin King Hand Puppets

Now that you've seen CBBC's seizure-effect free airing of Scooby Doo & The Goblin King, why not make some hand puppets of Scooby, Shaggy, the Goblin King, the Amazing Krudsky, Princess Fairy Willow, the fairies, the witches and some various monsters that appeared in the film? Make them dance to music from Noddy's Magic Holiday, or act out your own scene to go into the film. Click the link below for inspiration on how to make them:

Species

We walked upright.

We became scavengers and toolmakers.

We learned to work together as a family.

We are Luke, Resus, Cleo, Luella, Six, Hedgehog, Oscar and me - Sybil - all early species in the prehistoric era, hunting for food and playing amongst nature, like real early apes of the time. What's more, except for Cleo, who wears bandages, we didn't have any clothes on, which adds to the more natural feel of this dream. In place of the Dinofelis, there's an evil lion cub named Kion and his henchmen Bunga, Beshte, Fuli and Ono, who plot to hunt and kill us in a Shere Kahn like fashion. For you see, Kion hates man, and so do his friends. And when Bunga says Zuka Zama, he's blown his master's cover, so he and the others have to keep real quiet. To escape the wrath of Kion, we have to escape across a large river - this is similar to the scene in 'A Species Odyssey' involving Lucy crossing a river with her clan, except as we're crossing the river, Fuli drowns trying to catch us.

This dream of course is similar to A.S.O, Walking With Cavemen and the Walking With Beasts episode 'Next Of Kin' except it uses traits from previous dreams where we interact with nature. Scream Street, Summer Camp Island and The Lion Guard meets natural selection and human evolution - what more could I want?
