Island Of Misfit Toys

I'll Always Remember Tracy...

Even though My Mum Tracy Beaker was released to include Tracy as an adult, she's designed like a kid, and forever will be the girl in the same age we know and love. Even today, she's still telling us to "Bog off!"

CBBC: Adult Life - The Truth About Justine Littlewood

TRACY BEAKER: Justine! Justine, I've come to apologise! Justine?
[Tracy heads upstairs, and hears the sound of making out in Justine's bedroom]
TRACY: Justine?
[Justine sits up. Sitting next to her is...Louise!]
TRACY: LOUISE?!
JUSTINE: This isn't what it looks like, Tracy!
TRACY: But...but I thought you were...
LOUISE: In love with Ben? Well, viewers guessed wrong.
JUSTINE: Tracy...
TRACY: You only wanted to be my enemy because you never wanted to love Ben in the first place.
JUSTINE: False claim! I love Louise now. The boyfriend that I had in Tracy Beaker Returns was all just a cover up - instead, he was Louise in disguise.
LOUISE: We had to keep it covered from you, Tracy, so that the viewers won't recognise it.
TRACY: I'm so confused! I thought you were cheating on your boyfriend!
LOUISE: Cheating?
JUSTINE/LOUISE: Not!
TRACY: Grrrr...BOG OFF, YOU PRATS!!
JUSTINE: Well, it did say in the books that you live in a great modern house with a set of bunk beds, a Mickey Mouse alarm clock, a set of poster paints and felt tips and your own television so that you could watch CBBC all day, every day. Then there's your daily trip to McDonald's you mentioned, where you'll eat so much you'll become morbidly obese, and then I heard you're going to get a fast car.
TRACY: A fast car? You knew that joke was coming, I mean, seriously, have you seen My Mum Tracy Beaker yet? I already have a dream car that my mum drove in the animated sequences!
PETER: Oi! Quiet there, Tracy, I'm trying to enjoy my beer.
JUSTINE: Oh, Tracy, haven't you heard? Peter's our roommate.
TRACY: Oh my god!!

ARTHUR: So Justine had Louise as a girlfriend?
TRACY: Yes, it was all true, I thought she was in love with Ben, but it was all a cover up.
ARTHUR: Let me guess: Peter was Justine's roommate. Yep - just made it right!
TRACY: Stop making fun of Peter! He drinks and smokes these days, he isn't the weed he used to be in 2002!
VLAD: 2002 was a thing of the past, Tracy, there are lots of things to think about these days like Facebook and iPhones and Almost Never and other stuff.
TRACY: What a lazy show.
ARTHUR/VLAD: Oi!
TRACY: Er, no-no-no-no, I was referring to Almost Never, it was repeated too many times.
ARTHUR: I bet Justine got revenge on Peter by force feeding him the ice cream sundaes you had in your animated fantasies.
TRACY: You know what? I bet he is.

[Peter is seen hanging by a noose in his apartment. The sound of police sirens blare outside.]

Danger Mouse Begins...A Long Time Ago

Before he emerged to become a CBBC superstar, Danger Mouse and Penfold spent their time doing yoga and practising the saxophone before calling into the case of the missing bagpipes. This was the unaired first adventure for Danger Mouse, the one who returned to CBBC when the legends known as Mitchell, Becky and Templeton arrived two years before he returned to television.
