Nana sets up a video chat for when we're snowed in at her flat. Hey, I made a rhyme!

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Journal - 10.5.21
On Christmas With The I.B.F.Fs: Altogether Now, Nana gets the video call working on her phone, so I can call not only our families, but also our friends, starting with Dog and Pug. I was inspired by those 'snowed-in' episodes of kids' TV shows and video chats used during lockdown to make this story.
I'm not watching this morning's airing on 'Magic Xylophone'. Why? Because of a realistic depiction of a dog's head on Duggee in the 'Hey Duggee' episode 'The Glasses Badge'. I'd rather be watching a Yakka Dee episode than this garbage.
Sound On, Bluey!
I just watched Bluey with the sound on yesterday, and it was a major breakthrough, especially when I got to hear the Australian accents for the first time. Bluey and the other kids sounded really adorable, and Dad made some excitably witty comments. The episodes I saw are 'Camping', 'Mums & Dads', 'Asparagus', 'The Beach', 'Grannies', 'Shadowlands', 'The Weekend', 'Fruit Bat' and 'Tickle Crabs'. What really strikes me is the music in each episode - they always fit the games Bluey plays with her friends and family, and to me, they sound wonderful. I think the music for 'Camping', 'The Weekend' and 'Tickle Crabs' sounds a lot like the music in the videos below.
Dork Diaries: OMG: All About Me - 10.5.21 [Year 1]
My fashion line for tween girls will feature cool images of Luke, Resus, Cleo and a teenage Bluey and Bingo wearing shades on every T-shirt, pair of jeans and pyjamas.
Odd Recall

Last Saturday while watching one of the Odd Squad segments on Saturday Mash Up, it involved a knight made out of rock who made roaring noises that are identical to that of Luke's werewolf form in Scream Street. Just like what happened to my friend Nothing in the clip above, the Mobile Unit Squad trying to fight off the knight brought happy memories of when Resus and Cleo used Luke's werewolf to get out of a devious monster house. I miss them already...😔
Watch last week's Saturday Mash Up on iPlayer (feel free to skip the Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese parts):
Introducing...Nana!
Dad is dumb, Mum is smart, but Nana is wise as the ones you'd look to and let bake a whole batch of chocolate cookies. It's here on the CBeebies website that she makes her first appearance on a video call, and this is an exact representation of what happens these days when your kids Zoom call! I promise that someday, the episode 'Grannies' will air on CBeebies, I trust you.
Okay, Now You're Really Into Bitesize - Why I Love Bluey Essay Sheet
The beautiful music that fits each game Bluey plays. The importance of play and spending time with family and friends. The squeals of laughter coming from Bluey and Bingo as they have fun with their friends and family. These are a few things I like about Bluey. How about you? This exclusive activity sheet is available for you to print out and talk about why you love Bluey on CBeebies in your own words.
