The CBBC Lullaby

Before I become future chairman of CBBC, I have this lullaby for the friends I miss most - Luke, Resus and Cleo.

Hush, little monsters, don't you cry,
Sybil's gonna sing you a lullaby
And to help give your tired friend a lift
The kids of the Dumping Ground will take the late night shift
And although it isn't fair,
Issie will have to put the f(bleep) knife down
And before they're at the door
Dennis & Gnasher will open a practical joke store
Your show Scream Street will help calm me down
I'll see Dr. F and Six all year round
And to keep the police or the FBI away
I'll find a safe place where we all can play
And when you're in line of sight,
She-Ra and Tom & Jerry will end their fights

RESUS: But what about Alisa? We've been at each other's throats, and people are now used to seeing these Norwegian-speaking vampires instead of vampires who try to be vampires!
ME: Don't worry, Resus, there will be times when you need to make peace with Alisa. She burnt down the Elisabetha yesterday, because one of her kind spoke Norwegian. They're rebuilding it as we speak, now let me continue my lullaby.

And though they've got no time to spare
The Scooby Gang will show you how to share
And in case you're feeling down,
Chris, Xand and Ronx will be your clowns
Danger Mouse will quiet down for us
The Summer Camp Islanders will be careful, too
Danny & Mick will help kids in need
Everyone at the BBC will bow down on my behalf
And though it seems like Scream Street is done,
A new beginning has just begun
Hush, hush now, you know it's true,
Luke, Resus, Cleo, I love you

Goodnight.
LUKE: Goodnight.
RESUS: Goodnight.
CLEO: Goodnight.
LUELLA: Goodnight.
DIXON: Goodnight.
FARP: Goodnight.
EEFA: Goodnight.

It seems we'll have a long time to wait until we see Six again. It'll happen one day in March, I promise.
SIX: Goodnight.

Talking, Always Talking

I have to keep my mouth shut now because I'm a complete chatterbox, so here's this Japanese retelling of Mr. Chatterbox, one of the Mr. Men.

A Word Of Advice From Elmo's Mum

Have you met Elmo's mum yet? She's going to show you parents how to support your child during difficult times in this video from UNiCEF.

Komal

The film you're about to see stars a little girl called Komal, and will inform you adults about what to do when your young friend gets touched in the most private places, hurt and scarred for life.
I feel towards CBBC the same way Komal feels about her uncle in the short - he did something horrible to her, CBBC did something horrible to me - they took my friends from Scream Street away.

Nutrition Before Childbirth

Join a little Indian girl called Meena and her Zazu-like parrot sidekick as they learn from their mother how to keep happy and healthy before you give birth.

Menace Dance Time

Since Rubi's dance machine was unveiled yesterday, it's time to keep fit and get dancing with Dennis, Gnasher, JJ, Pieface and Ruby! Try some fun dancing activities, or get up and have some Disney dance fun with a Beauty & The Beast Line Up or a Lion King jig. Whatever suites you, you'll soon become the finest dancer in Beanotown!

Step Up To The Plate: Top 10 Recipes To Try At Home

To celebrate (or rather avoid because of Mystic) the new series of Step Up To The Plate, I'm offering ten delicious recipes you can make at home. If you're under your teenage years, you must always get a grownup to help you, and remember to always wash your hands before cooking. Disabled adults who love CBBC, join in too!!

For more recipes, check out the Matilda & The Ramsay Bunch section of the CBBC website.

Don't Watch CBBC On Tuesdays!

I say, what's that blood-covered knife doing on the floor? It must belong to someone who caused a murder, and I think we all know who that murderer is...

ISSIE!!

And which CBBC show does she come from?

Mystic, of course!

So, on Tuesdays, don't watch Gym Stars or Mystic on CBBC, 'cause if you do, the characters in these two shows will kill you in an instant, and then drink your blood faster than any of the vampire characters in Heirs Of The Night. Please, DON'T!!! Neither will I, because I'm going to avoid death like most people are today. Wish me luck!
