ME: We would've gotten away with being eaten by that haunted house?
LUKE: Yeah, just like old times.
ME: We're safe now. Say, how much breakfast did you eat this morning?
LUKE: Lots.
RESUS: I had to avoid blood.
CLEO: Always healthy.
ME: Good, good.
[Silence for a moment. Then:]
ME: Look at those clouds. They form delicate shapes, you should like them. Like that one up there, this one's of Otto in the bathtub.
[Resus & Cleo laugh]
LUKE: This isn't delicate. Check out this one of a werewolf holding a love heart.
ME: Aaaawww, that's so sweet.
LUKE: Only the best to impress you, my darling.
ME: What do you think that cloud up there looks like, Cleo?
CLEO: Hmmmm...maybe just a locust learning to write.
ME: [giggles] My god, Cleo! How about you, Resus?
RESUS: I don't see anything. Wait a minute...what's that dark shadow?
ME: That's a storm cloud, and I think it's going to...
ALL FOUR OF US: RAIN!!!!
ME: Quick! Under that tree!
ME: Well, at least we're safe from the rain now.
[Dig enters and shelters under the tree with us]
ME: Nice to have you with us, half-doggy dude.
CLEO: Half doggy dude? Where the hell did you get that from?
ME: Doug.
CLEO: Oh yeah. Well, suit yourself. We enjoy it out there in nature.
