With that announcement, the screen flashes to a montage of classic cartoon characters causing havoc in various iconic British locations. The narration fades as here, we see a bustling car auction sale in the heart of London.
Dick Dastardly, with his signature sinister moustache and ever-present purple top hat, slinks through the rows of cars, followed closely by his loyal but snickering sidekick, Muttley. The duo, infamous for their underhanded tactics in the Wacky Races, are on the prowl for a new vehicle to continue their misadventures.
"Keep your eyes peeled, Muttley," Dastardly mutters. "We need a car that can outsmart and outrun anyone on these streets!"
Muttley responds with his characteristic wheezy chuckle, his eyes darting around the car lot.
As they weave through the array of vehicles, Dastardly's eyes light up when he spots a dazzling blue car outfitted with an array of prank-causing gadgets. It has everything from smoke screens to oil slicks—a true masterpiece of mischief.
"Ah, Muttley, this is it! This is the car that will make us unstoppable!"
However, their excitement is short-lived as a garishly dressed clown outbids them and drives away in their dream vehicle, leaving Dastardly and Muttley fuming with disappointment.
Just as they begin to lose hope, Muttley spots a bright, snazzy '50s automobile. Its chrome fenders gleam under the sunlight, and its retro charm beckons them.
Dastardly's eyes narrow with determination. "Let's take it for a spin, Muttley. We might just have a new contender!"
With that, the duo climbs into the car and revs the engine, its roar echoing through the auction lot.
They zoom onto the highway, the wind whipping through Dastardly's moustache as Muttley fiddles with the array of buttons on the dashboard. It doesn't take long before they catch the attention of the police, who promptly begin a high-speed chase.
Muttley, ever the prankster, unleashes a barrage of custard pies from a hidden compartment, splattering the windshields of the pursuing police cars. The officers struggle to see through the creamy mess, swerving wildly.
Dastardly grins wickedly and activates another gadget—a massive mallet that swings out from the side of the car, bonking the police cars into each other and causing a pile-up. Their victory is short-lived, however, as they notice a road blockage ahead.
With no time to react, the car crashes through the barricades and plunges into a deep hole in the road. The impact sends Dastardly and Muttley flying, their misadventure coming to a painful halt.
Sirens wail as ambulances arrive on the scene. Medics rush to tend to the injured Dastardly, loading him onto a stretcher. Muttley, bruised and battered, watches anxiously as they prepare to drive away.
"Wait! What about Muttley?" Dastardly groans weakly, but his plea is drowned out by the wail of the siren as the ambulance speeds off, leaving Muttley behind.
Alone and forsaken, Muttley's chuckles turn to sobs, his heart breaking as he watches the ambulance disappear into the distance.
With tears streaming down his furry face, Muttley sits by the wreckage of their latest escapade, the laughter and joy of their chaotic ride replaced by the sorrow of being left behind.
