In this adaptation of The Wind In The Willows, the slow-paced charm of the adventures in the willows are this time read by Vanessa Redgrave in the style of another series done by TVC, the creators of this film, The Snowman and Granpa - Tales Of Beatrix Potter. Think of it as Cosgrove Hall meets a full length Beatrix Potter episode - except Peter Rabbit and his friends have been replaced by characters from Wind In The Willows. For centuries, boys and girls and mums and dads have read about Mole and his friends and how they managed to get Toad out of his misfortune. Well, did you know YTV aired this version?
