Small Urchins

“Aaaaaaaahhh…” sighed Furaha as she nestled into the tulip, “This is the life. Such a peaceful flower.” “I agree,” sighed Orko, “This is the most comfortable flower we’ve ever slept in ever.” “And its petals are all silky smooth too. Feel them!” Furaha and Orko felt the petal walls - oooh, they felt so smooth like suggested. And smooth as silk too. Furaha yawned and settled into the base of the flower, pollen covering her fur like honey covering a certain bear after he’s eaten his daily dose. Orko snuggled beside him, pollen covering his own red cloak, so it was yellow too. It was getting dark outside as the petals began to close on the flower, and Furaha and Orko began to grow tired. They fell asleep surrounded by silky walls in a bed of pollen as stars filled the sky and the moon cast its haunting light on the flower field.
