Mission Impossumble:
This is the story that featured the song that introduced loyal Factory fans and non-Factory fans alike to Plywood Forest, Norm and his gopher sidekicks. The sequence has it all: bear onesies, synchronised swimming, Betsy the skunk gassing a rooster to death, Norm putting an umbrella over a resident's house to save any plumberworks and stop it raining inside, and rounds of raisins and nuts flying all around our favourite handyman. Also, be sure to look out for any hidden goodies along the way throughout the rest of the episode, such as that dumb bat trying to cross the road with her shopping, but almost getting run over by Norm's caddyshack. Hasn't she known of the Green Cross Code?
Fur-Get About It:
In the second segment, all the residents of Plywood Forest start shedding their fur during the hot season, and Norm bursts into a song-and-dance about why animals shed fur. The song starts with bunches of fur chasing two mole tourists, then it revolves into a full furry frenzy: balls of shed fur rolling along the stage, tiny little fuzzballs with legs (Mini Kiss Cool, anyone?) and Norm and Blanche sitting atop the sun. I hope they don't get burnt! As the gophers push the furballs away, Norm is seen comforting a crying Blanche and telling her that shedding fur is nothing to be worried about. Such a comforting Broadway star! This is also the first time we see, on the TV screens, the 2D flash animated 'Super Rabbit', during the end, when the gang are having a movie night.
