Mushroom

2006 - 2022

I'm sorry to tell you that my beloved pussycat Mushroom has passed away due to old age and her increasing sickness. She at first lived a horrible life, but the Cats Protection League found her and gave her a new home and a new family - us. She stayed with us through moving out of South Woodham and to Scotland, where she stuck with me through the worst years of my life, even through the times I got angry and lashed out at people. She was lucky enough to have lived to hear my last good luck wishes to her, but the vet knew she had to do the right thing and put Mushroom to sleep. Now she's in a safer place with her sister Pumpkin, playing together like they used to, 15 years when they came to live with us. This picture shows how Mum felt to lose her precious Mushroom, but through this whole thing I kept smiling, because I'm showing Aloha spirit letting her go.
