CLEO: Interesting story we have here...Dog's Sleepover.
LUKE: Remember when I promised I would invite you two round for a sleepover and it turned into one hell of a party?
RESUS: Yes?
LUKE: Well this sleepover isn't like this. It involves a dog and a cat.
CLEO: And it doesn't involve any other characters? That's a wrap.
LUKE: So, the two have a sleepover, and Dog is especially fond of dinosaurs for some reason.
RESUS: Well that's why his dinosaur pyjamas and sleepover bag are green.
CLEO: Like the goblins.
RESUS: Don't even get me started on these guys.
LUKE: Anyway, while Dog likes to play board games, Cat loves to play on the computer.
RESUS: But on Scream Street, we never use technology. Okay, maybe once or twice when I pulled an iPhone out of my magic cape, but Eefa uses a Maglet all the time, like they use in The Worst Witch.
CLEO: Well, while Dog bounces on the bed, Cat likes yoga.
LUKE: Talk about Waybuloo.
RESUS: And while Dog loves to build towers with his blocks, Cat loves to play with diggers.
CLEO: That probably explains the reason why Cat has trains and diggers on his sleepover bag.
LUKE: Right, here comes the gross part.
RESUS: Goblin farts?
CLEO: Sir Otto's bellybutton fluff?
LUKE: Not that. Cat not only eats oily, stinky pilchard ice cream, but he also washes himself with his tongue.
CLEO: Eeeeeewwww!!
RESUS: And it says here that once he has eaten strawberry cake and pilchard ice cream for tea, his breath smells like fish, strawberries and cream.
CLEO: Who'd want to try this?!
+minutes later+
RESUS: Urgh! I don't think I can finish!
LUKE: Well we whipped up fish, strawberries and cream just for you so you can try it.
CLEO: Don't get me started on when you had to beat Mr. Crudley in a jelly eating contest.
RESUS: *eating* Urgh...I can feel my breath getting worse by the minute!
*Resus races to the bathroom to clean his teeth*
CLEO: He's out!
LUKE: I would definitely win a challenge any day!
LUKE'S DAD: What's this? I heard grossing out!
LUKE: Nothing, dad, I was just treating Resus to ice cream since he had an appetite for it after reading Dog's Sleepover.
LUKE'S DAD: I guess he got really sick then?
LUKE: Well, he's okay, it's just that...we love sleepovers, right?
LUKE'S DAD: You sure do.
CLEO: I need to read more books for children about sleepovers.
Watch 'The Uninvited' on iPlayer!
