Frisky

Frisky is Bluey’s godmother and a good friend of Chilli’s. This means that she’s just like family and Bluey and Bingo sometimes affectionately call her “Aunt Frisky”.

Frisky is an English cocker spaniel and she keeps her soft hair looking healthy with almond milk shampoo – just like Uncle Rad. Frisky and Rad met while double-babysitting Bluey and Bingo and have since become a couple.

She adores Bluey and Bingo and they all love playtime together. Frisky is a good role model who can offer a level-headed perspective when the rest of the Heeler family gets a bit crazy.

I think the second half of Season 2 is dedicated to the story of Uncle Rad and Frisky - two role models who will provide the adult storylines of Bluey and will help young children understand the ethics of romance.

Grandpa Bob

Grandpa Bob, or “Bobba” as the kids sometimes call him, is Bandit’s dad.

He is retired and lives with Nana Chris at an apartment on the Gold Coast. He enjoys going to the beach and acting silly around the house.

Bob can be forgetful sometimes and in the 80s flashback episode “Fairytale” he struggles with the kids’ names. Still, Bob is a fun grandpa and can floss with the best of them.

Bon Bon's New Flavour

Furaha and Orko were taking a walk down the street when they spotted the most peculiar poster. It read:

"Calling all ice cream fanatics! Enter my competition to design the best ice cream drink flavour around! Your flavour could be the new centre of attention in my shop!"

"Wow! I want to enter!" cried Furaha. Then she suddenly turned confused. "Er...what are the terms and conditions." "Look on the poster," said Orko. Furaha squinted hard, and saw a message in small letters: "It cost nothing at all!" "We're sure to win with our flavour!" said Furaha. "And what is that?" asked Orko.

"Raspberry, blackberry and strawberry," said Furaha, placing all the said fruits on the kitchen counter. "All we need is milk and a spoon, and we're good to go!" Just as Furaha was about to begin mixing, Orko reminded her, "Listen Furaha, it's not about winning. It's about taking part and doing a little fun stuff. So if we focus on the fun, and not the prize, we could be pros in no time." "Wait!" said Furaha. "Before we do that, we need to ask a grown up to help us - namely, my mum and dad!"

With Kiburi and Ua called down to help, Furaha and Orko got to work. They chopped, crushed and squirted all their chosen fruits in a bowl, then they added milk and raspberry mix, and stirred it all together. "No," said Ua, "What we need is a blender. I think I have one in the cupboard somewhere." She took out the blender and poured the mixture in. Furaha and Orko watched as the drink went round and round and round. Then, when it was ready, Ua poured it into a jug and put it in the fridge. "Now, we wait until the competition begins," said Furaha.

To be continued, because I'm not sure how to do the actual competition scene...

Grandad

Mort is Chilli’s dad and Bluey and Bingo’s grandad. After a life in the army, he has since retired to a life of canoeing, bush walking, and eating curried sausages.

Mort hasn’t kept up with technology over the past couple of decades and is still surprised that “this internet thing has really taken off!”.

Mort knows that kids haven’t changed, though, and he is very good at playing games with Bluey and Bingo. He’ll even cheekily throw a stuffed crocodile into the game just to spice things up!

Mort loves his family and one of his favourite memories is playing at the lake with his daughter Chilli. He remembers their time together like it was yesterday.

If you want to eat curried sausages, always go to the local takeaway store, then to the butcher, and say Grandad brought you there.

Furaha, Orko & Optimus

Deep in the countryside there was a peaceful, cosy house big enough for three people. And by three people, I mean Furaha the lioness cub, Orko, a wizard from Trolla, and Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. They lived a wonderful yet cosy life together every day, and they were never far apart from one another. And by Optimus Prime, I mean the one from Armada. This story charts their daily routine in the soft, gentle countryside.

Furaha and Orko would wake up first every morning, and tickle Optimus to make sure he was awake. He laughed so much he fell onto the floor. Then after Furaha and Orko brushed their teeth, they would go downstairs and have breakfast. Optimus always ate with - actually, I'm not going to say what he does to his faceplate while he eats, because somehow it'll traumatise you.

After breakfast, the three friends went outside into the meadow to play. They played hide and seek in the forest, and in the meadow they played tag and rolled down hills. Sometimes they liked to lie down peacefully on the grass and watched the clouds go by. You'd know how they'd feel with rain - every time it bucketed down, the friends would frolic about in the rain and roll in the mud, laughing, like they were a team of Australian State Of Origin players or someone. Sometimes, they would run back indoors and keep warm with a nice bath, which is big enough and deep enough for three people like Furaha, Orko and Optimus. Optimus would fill it up with lots of bubble bath and Furaha and Orko would splash him, resulting in him splashing them. In the end, they would always play nicely together and keep all nice and squeaky clean. After this, they would all curl up by the fire and drink not-too-hot, not-too-cold hot cocoa to keep themselves warm.

When it does rain, even in the mornings, Furaha and Orko would play quiet board games together with Optimus, and sometimes they can engage in role play. They can be anything - mermaids, desert warriors, queens, anything really, as long as Optimus plays along with them. He would chuckle along with their antics and join in as a king or something. To our two friends, he was the king of their world.

Bedtimes were really soothing. After dinner (I'm not going to tell you about Optimus' faceplate, I promise), the friends would snuggle down on the sofa in a warmly lit room and relax, snuggled by Optimus' side, while they gazed into the fire. After the fire was put out, they would go upstairs and have another nice, warm bath, then after they've dried themselves and brushed their teeth, Optimus would snuggle into the bed big enough for him, Orko and Furaha and tell them a soothing bedtime story, before all three snuggled right down to sleep.

....in the house, that's big enough for our three friends...Furaha, Orko and Optimus.

Chloe!

Chloe is here! She's nice to have on a rainy day, especially all the other characters in Bluey's world.
Super kind, gentle and smart, Chloe is one of Bluey’s best friends. She is a dalmatian like her mum and dad, and she has a baby brother.

Chloe has a great imagination, is skilled at the monkey bars and loves a tennis ball. Her many roles include being a shopkeeper, a spy, an octopus, a mum, a princess and more.

She loves spending time with her dad, Frank, and has learned a lot about sea creatures like octopuses!

Chloe’s favourite TV show is Chutney Chimp, just like Bluey.

I wonder if Chloe's ocean instincts are calling her?

The Biggest Pizza In The World

This is a story I read to Mylo early this morning. He was slumped on the floor near the conservatory door like a baby, so I decided to tell him a story. I loved it when Mum dried him with a towel, because it made him even more of a loved baby. This is a story based in the world of Me, You, And... .

The story begins at the local pizza restaurant, where Furaha, Orko and their friend Tenderheart Bear are waiting for their pizza. They are wearing 'I Heart Pizza' T-shirts that Ua had brought Furaha and Orko during their visit to New York. While waiting for their pizza, Tenderheart Bear tells Furaha about the manners needed when visiting a restaurant, and then they are served their pizza - a delicious cheese pan pizza. Orko tells Furaha what pan pizzas are, then the trio tuck in. We take a short break to see how Rocky's doing, then we go back to the trio, who are stuffed from eating all the pizza - and sharing it! Tenderheart even lets out a massive BURP too. Furaha decides they should go to the park to burn off their food, so they play on the swings, slide on the slide and run around for a bit.

A few weeks later, Kiburi and Ua take Furaha and Orko to their favourite kiddie pizza joint - Cheesy Unicorn, where Minty's friend, a Me, You, And...-exclusive G3 MLP character named Cheese Pizza, works. She has a red mane and tail and a yellow body, and her Cutie Mark is a pizza slice. All around, cubs are playing arcade games and going on kiddie rides. Furaha and Orko order a cheese pizza big enough for them and their mum and dad, alongside fizzy drinks. They also have balloons too.
While they have their pizza they talk about why current generations of MLP attract grown up male fans called Bronies, why the Care Bears should be this way and what's it like being a Care Bear. Suddenly, Cheese Pizza arrives on stage and pulls two names out of a hat, saying Furaha and Orko are the lucky ducks she's selected to come up on stage and sing 'The Chihuahua On The Bus Goes Yip Yip Yip'. Excited, and loudly encouraged by their parents, Furaha and her brother take to the stage and sing, and soon everyone in the restaurant gets up to dance too, followed by Minty, who calls over to Cheese Pizza to congratulate her.

When they get home, Furaha and Orko decide they've had enough of pizza and drift off to sleep at bedtime, dreaming of eating burgers instead.

Honey!

Are you ready to meet one of Bluey's friends, Honey? She just loves Mylo as much as I do!
Honey is Bluey’s friend from school. She is a beagle with dark honey-coloured ears, a black nose and circle turquoise glasses, just like her mother and father, Daisy and Marcus.

Although her parents are from Europe and speak with an English accent, Honey speaks with an Australian accent, as she grew up in the country.

Honey is assertive, thoughtful and caring but sometimes struggles to keep up with Bluey and Bingo’s imaginative games.

However, she has many other talents, such as  building with toys and shouting “password!” louder than anyone else. Remarkably, Honey can wag her entire body while keeping her tail still.

Now, I wonder what Honey was doing while the little kids were having fun with Lucky's dad in 'Pass The Parcel'?

Who's Left To Carry...The Poo Bags Of Shame?!

Today I went to my support worker's house and said hello to Angel and Putzell, who almost started fighting. I watched videos of Pingu, Compare The Meerkat, Dogs Trust, Pedigree, Schmackos and Butchers, and even had a nice hot dog to fill in the time. Am I a lucky dog? Speaking of dogs, when we got home we took Mylo for a walk. I had experienced a few major flaws along the way, such as attacking tree branches, rain, achy legs, and the nightmare of every dog owner - the POO BAGS OF SHAME! Luckily, I'm back home now, and I do deserve a rest after all the chaos I've been in today. Dogs do bring lots of chaos to every household, you know.

Here are 5 of the videos I watched today. Be sure to watch with your dog if you have the chance.

Mackenzie!

Meet Mackenzie! He's so looking forward to meeting Mylo!
Mackenzie is Bluey’s friend from school. He and his family are border collies who moved to Australia from New Zealand.

His mum and dad still root for the Kiwis in football, much to the chagrin of the neighbours and the confusion of Mackenzie.

Mackenzie likes to get to the point and will usually give a straightforward answer to any question.

Herding and jumping on sheep are talents that run in his family and come very naturally to Mackenzie. At school, Mackenzie has a big buddy named Captain and the two share a secret handshake.

And a good word of advice next time you see Mackenzie asleep in Fruit Bat - whisper 'night night' to him as Bluey flies past his bedroom window. Sweet dreams!

Bluey!

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Bluey, I'm adding a new Bluey character and talking about him or her every day this month. First of all, meet my best friend Bluey! She's excited I'm getting a dog, and you should be too!
Bluey is an inexhaustible blue Heeler puppy, who lives with her mum, dad and little sister Bingo. She likes to laugh and have fun but more than anything else she loves to play games with her family.

Bluey takes the everyday events of her family’s life and transforms them into extraordinary adventures. This means role play, and whether it’s a taxi driver, hotel manager or a mermaid, she loves to pretend she’s a grown-up doing grown-up things herself.

Bluey is endlessly curious too. Even when she’s nervous about trying something new, like walking to the creek or going to the movies, she always discovers something wonderful about the big wide world around her.

The most important thing in Bluey’s life is her family and friends and she loves to share her new games, songs and wild adventures with them.

And Bluey's in a new circle of friends in Sybil & Friends! Wackadoo! This includes my siblings Luke, Resus and Cleo, my mentor Zecora (don't worry, she's from Friendship Is Magic but I'll stick to her rhyming ways of speaking and watch fanmade MLP videos online), my little friend Snarf (from 2011 Thundercats), my old friends Mitchell, Becky and Templeton and a new kid in Bluey's class, a puppy called Mylo, who has a laid-back, carefree attitude.

The Return Of Angel!

One of my friends has returned to my life today...and it's not my support worker...
Angel! My support worker's cat was happy to see me. She enjoyed the chicken I gave her which was scrumptious in cat terms, and she enjoyed having her little head scratched. She spoke with a scratchy 'meow' and my support worker picked her up and told her the world is a dangerous place. All the best for a little pussy! Anyway, I spent the rest of my time out eating a small meal and watching Dogs Trust, Pedigree, Take That and Compare The Meerkat on my support worker's TV. Here's three of the videos I watched today:
