Where's The Unicorn: A Review

Wheres The UnicornWheres The Unicorn by Jonny Marx
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A totally fun and engaging read.

So much to see in every picture, it's like MLP Rainbow Roadtrip, only a lot better!

Totally recommend for when you want to take a break from tech.

Pingu & The Kite: A Nostalgically Sarcastic Review Of A Claymation Penguin

Pingu and the KitePingu and the Kite by BBC Children's Books
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Remembered Pingu from my childhood, my voices exactly matched how I wanted them to sound off the show.

Pingu's parents should've had more time for their kids, someone call social services!

Highly recommend if one has had enough of Pingu In The City.

Too emotionally intense.

Felt very sorry for Scott in this one, immediately stopped when I felt it hitting my emotional pangs.

Not reading again, no offense.

10 Things I Learnt From Shannon The Ocean Fairy

1.Whenever the tide comes in, everyone always must say it in a whiny, pathetic Kipper impersonation.
2.A fairy's favourite soft drink is Magic Fizz Soda.
3.Fairy luaus always have bouncy castles, limbo sticks and steel drum bands conducted by Melodie.
4.Food featured during a Fairyland luau include chicken nuggets, sausage rolls, hamburgers, French fries and a fruit juice water cooler.
5.Jack Frost is a grandson of Troy Tempest's enemy, 'Mighty' Titan.
6.Shannon cares about Arctic oceans and global warming, too.
7.Marina's favourite piece of texture is red velvet.
8.The hand drawn version of Ariel was turned to stone by Disney due to their overuse of CGI and soulless movies, sequels and remakes.
9.Shannon is friends with the giant flying whales from 'Pines Of Rome'.
10.Shannon was born and raised in Seaquestria and is friends with the Hippogriffs, raised by Queen Nova's sister, Princess Seadance.

10 Things I Learnt From Esther The Kindness Fairy

1.Ginny has disguised the eight original Digimon as real kids to help Rachel and Kirsty make more friends.
2.Ginny is a big Digimon fan.
3.Lara and Oscar are the Earth names for Cutemon and Shoutmon.
4.My favourite stickers are ones with flowers, rainbows, butterflies, My Little Ponies and Digimon.
5.The official biscuits and juice for the Summer Friendship Club are chocolate chip cookies and blackcurrant juice.
6.Jen and Ginny's favourite Disney film is Snow White & The Seven Dwarves ('30s).
7.Lara is a huge Pegasister of MLP.
8.Ginny is very good at providing pretend football commentary.
9.Hugs are soft and cuddly, and perfect for showing someone you care.
10.My friends from Tracy Island and I love having water balloon fights on hot, boiling Summer days, when the sun feels like giving you sunburn.

10 Things I Learnt From Penny The Pony Fairy

1.Jet is actually a tall, dark, handsome man cursed by Jack Frost to become a stallion for all eternity. Unless Penny's mission is complete, he'll be stuck a stallion for all eternity.
2.Bramble Stables has issued electric gates around it ever since Mystic premiered on CBBC, to keep horse murderers like Izzie out. Good job, Jessica.
3.Marina, Oink, Spirit and Sweetberry are all best friends for life.
4.So are Angora (the cat, from Horseland) and Honey Pie Pony ('03).
5.Rachel and Kirsty have actually ended up in Dream Valley, and are living in Paradise Estate as their hotel.
6.Jessica is friends with Bugs Bunny and the '77 incarnation of Watership Down's Hazel.
7.Annie is cursed to become a normal horse and needs some help to have the curse lifted so she can turn into a pegasi again.
8.Penny's pony, Glitter, has a sparkly blue mane and tail.
9.Glitter isn't at all afraid of mice. In fact, all Fairyland ponies aren't.
10.There is a sick room in Bramble Stables where riders can rest - and have a small horse beside them.

10 Things I Learnt From Thunderbirds: Terror From The Stars

1.Tin Tin is fond of making SWEETMEATS?! And they're good with croissants and hot cocoa? You're kidding!
2.Scott would often get Princess Celestia to aid him in his schemes of raiding the kitchen.
3.Scott had dreams of entering an ancient temple in the Shifting Place, where he saw Tin Tin unclothed and swimming peacefully in the cool, inviting water.
4.There are My Pride versions of the Thunderbirds characters: RocketInk (Scott), StarFire (John), Cosy (Alan), RipWave (Gordon), DragonBreath (Kyrano), IceGlitter (Grandma Tracy), SmoothWater (Tin Tin), Lady Penelope (WhiteMane) and Parker? He's a tortoise. His name is SlowPace.
5.Timon had been Jeff Tracy's medical expert friend all along.
6.Scott loves sharing Grandma's cakes with Princess Celestia, but is always careful about what Indy eats due to her food allergies.
7.Buck and Wilma take charge of TB5 while John is on Earth. Sulu always babysits Twiki, and is always good to him.
8.When I think of faraway family member Aaron, I always think of Alan calling 'Go to daddy'.
9.Scott's sneezes and germs would infect the entire universe should he have gone on this mission when ill.
10.The brothers love sharing with me and Tin Tin and Brains.
