Dear journal,
The Supercar team invited me on a picnic in the countryside today. I always loved going on picnics, because there's always lots of bananas to share between me, Mitch the monkey and his best friend, young Jimmy Gibson.
While we walked, I lead everyone in a jolly sing song of 'The Grand Old Duke Of York', just like Kipper did when it was Arnold's birthday party and they had to find the missing tape. Then we settled on a perfect, peaceful picnic spot and laid out the food. It was so delicious your jaw will drop off. There were ham, egg and cheese sandwiches, strawberry ice cream, fruit salad, chocolate cake (my favourite!) and especially Mitch's favourite - a whole stack of bananas! Once we tucked in, I immediately forgot about all my worries and shared my food with Mitch and Jimmy. I also happened to catch a glimpse of Mike Mercury's relationship with Dr Beaker - they shared a sandwich the same way Lady and Tramp shared spaghetti famously. When Jimmy, Mitch and I saw that, we went "Ooooooooo!" That was the sign of their relationship growing stronger.
After lunch, we all took a nap in the warm sunshine. However, Mitch saw a tree nearby and wanted to climb it. Jimmy and I joined him, and soon we were on the highest branch of the tree, pretending to be monkeys like Mitch was. What a fun picnic! I hope I have another one someday soon!
