Positive Ninja - Tips For Positivity

  • If some stories make you tired, save them to one side and do them next time.
  • If someone says you can't do things for yourself, don't worry - you CAN do it. Things like buttering toast and writing stories are really easy to some hands.
  • Missed your favourite show? Don't worry! Record them on your Sky Box, or watch them on a streaming service you have signed up to.
  • Some people get scared when they see spiders right up close. But when I'm sitting on the sofa, I'm far away from it. You should too - after you've killed it.
  • Always wash your hands right after you go to the toilet before breakfast - it prevents the spread of germs on food that might make you really sick.
  • Find commercials overwhelming and annoying? Then go to their websites or watch their sponsorship idents!
  • Even though Thunderbirds, Stingray and Fireball XL5 are not on Talking Pictures TV at the moment, don't worry - you can see them on DVD instead, or on a streaming service like Amazon Prime or ITVX.
  • When a family member who denies you freedom has gone to hospital - like with my GM right now, be lucky - you have a chance in your life where you're free!
  • Got an episode stuck in your head? Breath out all negative thoughts of the episode into your pretend balloon and then send it off to Canada. After that, think about something else instead - I now think about the Tweenies specials Night Time Magic and Jungle Adventure sometimes.
  • If you have a tickly cough in your throat, find something to drink immediately. This takes away the tickling sensation inside your throat, and eases coughing.
  • Can't buy anything from the Gerry Anderson website? Not a problem! You still have that Space 1999 or Thunderbirds T-shirt lingering somewhere, as well as the Gerry Anderson website and Youtube channel. Happy viewing!
  • Fearing your day will spiral out of control and end in disaster, making it a very bad day? Just reassure yourself after you've sent your balloon off to Canada that everything will be okay, and today will turn out perfectly well.
  • If your Mum is too sick to visit you at bedtime, snuggle under the covers and listen to an audiobook, like Harry Potter, Disney, Kipper, Whatever Next, etc.. It'll send you off to sleep in no time!
