It's A Rainbow Relay Race!

Pick your soundtrack. Choose a favourite upbeat tune (maybe something bubbly like the “Bluey” theme!).

Assign “teams.” Clothes become your rainbow squads: reds go in the “Fire Truck Team,” blues in the “Ocean Team,” yellows in the “Sunshine Squad,” and so on.

Race the clock. Set a 3-minute timer. When the music starts, shout out one team (e.g. “Fire Truck Team, go!”), and both you and Mum grab only red items as fast as you can. When the timer dings, switch to the next colour.

Score stickers. At the end of each round, award yourself a sticker or draw a little smiley on a chart for every item you fold or hang correctly.

Celebrate your victory. When all the colours have raced, celebrate with a silly dance or a fun high-five routine. You’ll both feel proud of your teamwork—and the laundry will be done in no time!
