Bluey's Problem - A Response To Sappy Corgi

Bluey: Hey Alan…
Alan: Oh hey, Bluey! You okay? You look a bit down.
Bluey: It’s… it’s about fanart. There’s this artist who really looks up to me—Sappy Corgi.
Alan: Sappy Corgi? Sounds cute. What’s up?
Bluey: Well, they posted a new drawing. And it’s not of me. Or Bingo. Or anyone from my show.
Alan: So? What is it then?
Bluey: Shiba Inu dogs. Just… a bunch of cute Shiba Inus. Dancing and smiling.
Alan: That doesn’t sound so bad.
Bluey: But it feels like they’ve forgotten me! They’ve done loads of amazing drawings of what me and my sister and our friends might look like when we grow up. And now… they’re drawing other stuff.
Alan: Bluey, artists like to explore. It’s okay if they try different things sometimes.
Bluey: But if they’re allowed to draw non-Bluey fanart, then why can’t they draw Gerry Anderson fanart too?
Alan: Hah! Now you’re talking.
Bluey: I mean it! If they’re gonna draw cute dogs and sparkly creatures, they could do someone like Tin Tin or Lady Penelope or even you, Alan!
Alan: I’d love that, actually.
Bluey: And not just Gerry Anderson! Sappy Corgi should try Turning Red fanart. Or Finding Nemo! Those movies are totally alike in how they show kids growing up and discovering things.
Alan: Sounds like you’ve got a plan.
Bluey: I do! If they won’t draw you, maybe I will.
Alan: That’s the spirit, Bluey.
