In two weeks, CBBC will get you 100% excited for Halloween! Why? Because not only is there an exciting array of special programmes, but there's also no *censored to avoid bad luck*! Just avoid Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese if you have the chance. From Monday to Friday, the treats just keep on coming. Move the tricks aside!
Monday:
- New Odd Squad - The Mobile Unit is back and more odder than ever!
- Professor Branestawm - The only useful invention here is a movie for the entire family!
- B.O.B's Big Break - Characters from Monsters Vs. Aliens break out of a test lab.
- Creeped Out - Marti - Apparently The Curious uses a cell phone a lot, it's common in stories like No Filter or Takedown. Hopefully we'll get to see the special Creeped Out ident again!
- The Nine To Five With Stacey Dooley - Charities will scream for help when Stacey Dooley appears in a CBBC show!
Tuesday:
- Mr. Stink - David Walliam's heartwarming story about a stinky old hobo and his dog has been adapted into a wonderful animated film for the whole family.
Wednesday:
- Odd Squad: The Movie - We go right back to where it all started as everyone's favourite sarky group of young agents return for an adventure more odd than your mother's washing line.
- Our School & The Forgotten Room - Our School is getting into the Halloween spirit - and just in time, too! Prepare to grip the edge of your seat - it won't be like the zombie episode from two years ago.
- Shrek: The Ghost Of Lord Faarquad - Dim the lights, put your 3D glasses on, watch in 16:9 if you can and prepare to touch the daring escapades of the evergreen ogre and his gang of fairytale friends!
- And remember: avoid Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese's Halloween episode!
Thursday:
- Grandpa's Great Escape - David Walliams' high-flying adventure soars onto CBBC!
- Blue Peter: Spooky Spectacular - Come and celebrate Halloween with Lindsey and her petrifying peeps - Richie, Adam, Mwaksy and of course the lovable cutie-pie hellhound Henry!
- Dragons: Gift Of The Night Fury - It's not Christmas yet, but it sure does look like it here in Berk!
- Shrek: The Pig Who Cried Werewolf - Three German-accented little pigs solve mystery of why their next door neighbourhood, a big bad wolf transvestite grandma who sounds like a man, transforms into a jolly old sadistic woman who wants to cook them for dinner.
- Horrible Histories: Spooky Special - Death is staying at home due to recent events, and that's good because even though there's a hilarious fact that he still lives at home with his mum (tell that to me), these skits will be so (bad F word) scary that you'll have pee in your pants! By the way, do Death's corpse friends pee? I bet they do, if so they'll probably wet their graves - and possibly make flowers grow.
Friday:
- Arthur & The Haunted Tree House - Arthur, Buster and Ladonna are celebrating Halloween for the first time ever on CBBC. Check out their awesome costumes!
- Tracy Beaker: The Movie Of Me - Prepare to meet Arthur's BFF, the kid that rocked the Dumping Ground, in an adventure filled with surreal animated sequences done in the cruddy flash animation that made up the original Story Of Tracy Beaker series. And by the way, did I tell you that Young Dracula was going to air for a limited time? Sweet!
- Mimi & Co - Spooked - The ghetto version of Tilly Ramsay celebrates Halloween by pranking and prancing.
- Monsters Vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins From Outer Space - What happens when trick or treating turns bad? Uh oh, things aren't looking too good for the Monsters Vs. Aliens gang...
And now, the highlight of the week, the most epic thing that'll ever come out of CBBC ever since Strange Hill High:
SCREAM STREET!
With a new character, a Frankenstein-like teenage girl called Six, and lots more fun antics including a new pet for Cleo, Luke and his gang will make their way back to CBBC as if a miracle just happened. You know what? I think CBBC's real Halloween campaign for this year would be themed around Comfort's 'Do The Moves' song and would encourage viewers to 'Shake Things Up With CBBC & Scream Street This Halloween'. Cool, right? Cool. Thinking about new episodes of Scream Street makes me want to get up and dance to songs related to Comfort Fabric Softener, like Do The Moves or Move It Shake It.
Halloween looks GRRRRRREAT!!!! No trick or treating though, there's a Pandemic going on.
