When 'Maud's Big Mistake' aired on the 22nd February, Mildred gave us something to panic about thanks to a spell made by Luella - but how can Scream Street's resident witch give us a panic attack? Well, read on for this plan for one of the many antics Mildred and Luella get up to during I.B.F.F Diaries '17.
Well, Luella brings some magic drinks into CBBC for everyone to try out. There are no side effects to everyone, but when Luella shares hers with Mildred - two straws in one purple mug of green drink - nothing happens to Luella, but she begins to worry when the effects of the drink cause Mildred to go into a full-blown panic attack and start running around screaming and shouting about things that aren't possibly going to happen, like a meteor heading towards Cackles' Academy and destroying the school and, most horrifying of all, a wizard is going to come and kill her friends.
Mildred flies all the way to Cackles' Academy, where she informs the students Chicken Little - style very loudly that an evil wizard is coming to destroy Cackles' Academy, and that they have to get out of here quick as possible. Everyone begins screaming and running for their lives, and Mildred comes to Maud, Enid and Ethel's aid, still in panic mode. Luella arrives and sees all the commotion, and calls out "False Alarm!" This stops the panic, and everyone gathers round Mildred and Luella as the trainee witch lures her best friend out of her panic by telling her about an episode of her show that's airing tonight, with treats flying about on plates, parents visiting for tea and cake and Maud's parents calling her via a Maglet, plus no wizard coming to destroy the school. Telling someone about a Worst Witch episode happens to stop a panic attack, so Mildred snaps out of it as the crowd of students begins cheering and clapping, as the whole wizard thing has literally been a false alarm.
Back at CBBC, Mildred is put to bed during the premiere of 'Maud's Big Mistake' to assure that she'll never ever drink anything green again, for if she did, there'll be another panic attack - or so there will be.
