Dear Journal,
Lady Penelope loves me so much! She has even loved me ever since she gave birth to me as a baby. Even when she cuddles and hugs me, she playfully persuades me to try new foods. This entry in particular is about honey on porridge.
Lady Penelope had sprinkled a little honey on my porridge and was encouraging me to eat it, but I would turn my head away. The third time she tried to give me a spoonful, I started crying loudly, so Penelope turned to Parker. She whispered something into his ear, and he ran to get the CD stereo player and his bumblebee costume he wore at the Halloween party last Autumn.
Before long, he was back in the room playing 'Flight Of The Bumblebee' on the CD player and wearing his bumblebee costume. Lady Penelope shrieked with laughter, and immediately I stopped crying and began to laugh too. Then Parker took a spoonful of honey on porridge and fed it to me. To his surprise, I seemed to like it! 'Er ladyship congratulated Parker for doing such a good job, and Parker agreed that being in different costumes does seem to work for when I throw a temper tantrum over something I don't want to do. When I got older and didn't want to eat my vegetables, Parker dressed up as a farmer with a Westcountry accent!
