Meet Marmalade & Cloudy!

Instagram artist @quillinkie has once again blessed the Bluey fan community with an adorable duo of original characters that radiate personality and warmth. Meet Marmalade and Cloudy—two school-aged pups who brighten up every frame with their distinct looks and lively bond.

Marmalade, the golden-orange pup with creamy fur and subtle white markings, is the slightly more grounded of the two. He’s cautious but not shy, with a strong sense of fairness and a deep love for collecting shiny pebbles and bottle caps. His tail always wags when he spots a playground slide or hears the jingle of the ice cream van.

His best friend Cloudy is a cheerful, imaginative blue-and-cream pup with playful dapples and a bit of a wild side. He’s the type to leap into puddles without thinking twice or spin himself dizzy in the grass until he topples over, laughing. Cloudy loves inventing games on the spot—his favorite is “Sky Boats,” where he and Marmalade pretend the clouds above are boats sailing to magical lands.

On weekends, the park is their kingdom. Marmalade brings snacks carefully packed in a reused lunchbox, while Cloudy insists on bringing an old shoebox filled with random “treasures” like feathers, leaves, and a tiny superhero figurine he swears is magical. They run obstacle courses between the swings and trees, turn the jungle gym into a space rocket, and make up songs while bouncing on the springy see-saw.

After school, their adventures continue on the way home. They take the long route just to walk past the community garden, where they each have a tiny patch of dirt they’re allowed to dig in—Marmalade is growing marigolds, and Cloudy… well, no one’s quite sure what Cloudy’s growing, but it’s got glitter glued to the plant markers.

Their friendship is the kind that fills the air with laughter and imagination. Whether they’re arguing over the best stick to use as a wand or racing leaves down the storm drain, Marmalade and Cloudy are a reminder of the small, magical moments in every child’s life.
