After last night's premiere of the preview of the Slomo short film, he was moved to tears because he didn't want to be shut down again. I on the other hand started crying because Slomo won't be able to see everything from the decade I was born...including me and my family. But Slomo started to wake up much to my delight, and show me photos from when he was being cared for by Brogan as a baby robot. "You know memories of my babyhood very well," he said. "I wanted to make these stories just so I can remember how sweet and innocent you, Bluey and Furaha were as babies." I smiled, tears filling up in my eyes. Slomo and I hugged softly. That night, Slomo was rummaging through his old toy chest and found what he couldn't believe. It was his old soft toy monkey! "Monkey!" he cried, scooping up his favourite stuffed animal in his small thin arms and hugging him, "I thought I'd never see you again after all this time! And what will Romek and Orrin think?" That night, Slomo took his toy monkey to bed, happy and content he found the warmth of friendship in his old stuffed toy.
