What a fascinating and utterly bonkers concept! I must say, the idea of the New Captain Scarlet version of dear Captain Scarlet being so enraptured by The Lion King that it activates his Mysteron-altered psyche is absolutely inspired.
I can just picture him, wide-eyed like a child, completely immersed in the film—until that split personality takes hold! Imagine him prowling around like a cub, playfully pouncing on Destiny Angel while calling her "Nala," only for her to roll her eyes and sigh, “Paul, not this again.” And then, of course, there's the other side of the coin—when that scene happens, and suddenly he’s all fire and fury, growling about “Captain Black… I mean, Scar… you’ll never take over the Pride Lands!”
It's absolutely the sort of chaotic, unexpected quirk that would fit perfectly into the Randomiser discussion. Just picture Captain Blue walking into Cloudbase’s rec room, only to find Scarlet curled up like a lion, swishing an imaginary tail. “Oh no… He’s been watching The Lion King again, hasn’t he?”
