Paradise

Whilst waiting for my mum to arrive so I can talk about the less stressful activity of doing poetry instead of stories, I decided to upload my poem 'Paradise' onto Youtube. I wonder what Thunderbirds fans would think if they heard about Penelope and me roaming freely in a paradise hidden away from society, discovering the secrets and wonders of nature?

Okay, here's the truth: the thing is, my favourite Bible story is the first one, the tale of Adam & Eve. You see, God created Adam, and asked him to name all the animals, saying the land is now his to care for and protect. Everything was given to him. But Adam felt lonely, so God created a woman to be his loving wife and companion. He told them that they can eat from any tree in the garden, except the Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good & Evil. For on the day they eat of it, they die. Life was happy, until Eve encountered...the serpent. DUN DUN DUUUUUUNNN!!

The serpent forced Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree Of Knowledge, and then God was really angry at them. He banished all three of our heroes from the garden, cut off the serpent's legs and forced our two first humans to eat from the ground. YUCK! Is THAT where our food comes from?! Still, in nature, there's no need for clothing. We're all free, and nature is a cradle of love and happiness - especially for me and Penelope. You can take the girl out of nature, but you can't take nature out of the girl.
