One day, Orko was playing in his cosy bedroom, wearing a crown over his velvet hat and holding a wooden toy sword. “You’ll never get away from me, Mr Dragon!” cried Orko, pretending to slay the dragon and making roaring noises. “Oh no, he’s about to turn the princess to cinders!” he cried. “Well don’t worry, my dear, I’ll save you! CHAAAAAARRRGGGGE!” Orko flew up to the chair where his princess doll was tied up, cut the rope and pretended to slay the dragon. He flew around the room, calling out “Yay! She’s free! The princess is free!”
At that moment, Uncle Narona and one of Orko’s sisters, Mwanga, came into Orko’s room and saw him playing. Once they settled him down, Narona told him what he wanted to tell him.
