Now that I've found the Cartoon Network/[adult swim] Archives website, I seem to associate this movie with He Man: The Beginning and it airing solely on Cartoon Network straight after this light-hearted movie, which featured the best song sequence in any Scooby movie ever, featuring Scooby, Shaggy and their girlfriends going on adventures, getting married and eventually having kids and puppies together. Shame they're aliens, though. Orko once told us he was an alien wizard, and with his face in shadow, he's so sensitive he could do with a nice, soft hug...
