One day, William went out with his support worker to his local story school. The teacher asked him to go around the classroom looking for four different things in four different rooms. When he did, William found a packet of magic bird seed, a pebble with the word 'Dream' on it, a pair of magic boots that looked just like his Wish Wellingtons and a boxful of glittery stars and snowflakes. He made up with his teacher a story about him running away from his abusive father and encountering the things he'll need to rescue his friends - Snarf, Rusty and Jack.
On the way home, he was lucky enough to get some food from ASDA and go with his mum and his dog Barksure to his favourite picnic spot - "I did enjoy my trip out," said William proudly, "And I didn't even have to use my Wish Wellingtons!"
