“We navigated through life’s mazes, with twists and turns big and small.”
Orko led toddler Furaha across a huge leafy green hedge maze, with sparkling paths and twinkling leaves. Furaha wobbled along, following her big brother as fast as her little lioness legs could carry her. Suddenly, Orko stopped in his tracks. “What’s that?” he asked. Over the hedges he saw some bubbles floating out a few yards away. He lifted Furaha up to get a closer look, and Furaha couldn’t believe her eyes too. Bubbles were floating out of the maze! Orko took Furaha to where the bubbles were coming from, and to their surprise, they saw a magnificent gryphon statue which didn’t look at all scary, and was blowing out bubbles for Furaha to catch. Furaha leapt up high, trying to catch each bubble in her paws, but because she was too small, Orko had to pop them for her too. A bubble flew towards Orko’s nose and went POP! Right then and there. Orko and Furaha laughed and laughed, and continued chasing and popping the bubbles in the best part of the maze ever. After all that chasing and popping, the sunlight shone down on the gryphon statue and cracks began to appear, emitting lots of light. Then, BA-SHOOM! Out appeared a beautiful gryphon with silky white and brown feathers, blowing bubbles with its magical breath. It flew away into the sky as Orko held Furaha up to wave goodbye. The gryphon promised with all her heart she’d come back and see them anytime, but now, she had to go back to her own kingdom. Orko wished they would see her sometime soon.
