Orko
Lives alone in a Crystal Palace.
Does all the cooking, cleaning and housework.
Has time to relax.
Is really lonely.
Wishes for someone to keep him company and be his friend.
Rainy day near the palace.
Orko hears knocking on the front door.
Runs to answer.
Sees no one but a basket containing a beautiful baby lioness cub.
Sees note telling him to look after the lioness cub.
Takes the cub indoors.
Dries her and gives her a bottle of warm milk.
Names her Furaha.
Tucks her into his bed and snuggles to sleep with her.
First section: baby Furaha.
Baby Furaha crawls all over Orko to wake him up.
Breakfast - Orko sits next to Furaha to spoon porridge into her little mouth.
Go outside for fresh air.
Play with leaves and butterflies.
Orko blows bubbles in a field of long grass to entertain baby Furaha.
Orko and Furaha lie in the grass and look up at the clouds in the sky.
Orko takes baby Furaha to the stream.
Orko dangles Furaha over the stream, where she can wiggle her toes in the water.
Orko turns his hand into a fish, makes it swim along beside Furaha and tickle her.
Return home to the palace.
Furaha sits on Orko’s lap.
Orko tells little Furaha stories and sings her songs.
Relaxation room - quiet room filled with pillows, cushions, duvets and soft toys.
Orko searches for Furaha among his soft toys.
Orko finds Furaha among his toys and cuddles her.
During dinner, Orko gives Furaha a bottle of milk after her porridge.
Crystal bathroom - crystal bath, sink and toilet, walls decorated with glow in the dark stars and moons.
Orko and Furaha share a bath together, play with a yellow rubber duck, hide among the foamy bubbles and count all the stars and moons on the wall.
Orko uses his magic to make illusive images of whales, stars and pirate ships appear and float around the room before Furaha.
Drying themselves after bath - Orko spins to get himself dry, then helps Furaha dry all her important little places - her toes, ears, fingers, underarms, sides and legs - with a soft, fluffy towel.
Quiet time - Furaha and Orko go into the attic upstairs.
Attic - empty and beautiful and ethereal, with a dome ceiling with a glass window so Furaha and Orko can see the stars in the sky.
Orko shows Furaha the stars in the sky and counts how many there are until they get tired.
Orko takes baby Furaha to bed and comfortably settles down with her to a peaceful night’s sleep.
