I recently bought The Luckiest Kid In The World and Birthday Boy on Kindle, and oh boy were they exciting reads!
The Luckiest Kid In The World focused on a 10 year old boy called Joe, who becomes named the most average kid in the world. From there, he gets handed all kinds of gifts, including chocolate, tech and toys, and he gets water parks and fast food restaurants all to himself. That may sound cool, but it is also a warning to why you should never trust those who advertise on TV. Because they may steal your money, and we don't want that to happen now, do we?
And as for Birthday Boy, it goes down a treat, just like milk and birthday cake. The story follows Sam, a boy who loves birthday parties and cakes with Adventure Time figurines on it. He loves everything about birthdays: presents, balloons, cake, jelly and party games - oh, and fancy dress! So when he makes a wish upon a star, his life changes and he celebrates his birthday every day. He even takes control of the school with his own mind-made lessons! My favourite part of the book is when the author lists down the best birthdays Sam has ever had, and tells them in full detail.
I've yet to check out The Parent Agency. It's about a boy who is fed up with his lame parents and makes a wish to trade them in for new and exciting ones. I wish my mum were exciting as CH or H...
