Me Yesterday (Or, A Sick Sunday)

I'm afraid to tell you that, like my mum with her first Covid jab before, I experienced heavy symptoms of the vaccine I had two days ago. At first it was just tiredness from getting up at 3AM because of Grandma, but then it became much worse. My arm ached, I felt hot and my head looked like it was going to burst. So after seeing Jody In Wonderland, I took to my bed and tucked myself in for the rest of the day, with glasses of cool orange juice and some hot cheese sandwiches, and Nurse Mushroom came into my room to comfort me with her pussyish antics and her fishy breath! Eeewww.... Anyway, I spent an awfully good time relaxing in bed, watching Pingu on A and listening to stories too. I even listened to music I used to listen to when I was in Southend or on holiday in Cornwall. As it got darker, I was afraid monsters might get me, so I told myself a scary story like they do on sleepovers or campouts.
