I'm Kind Of Awesome. I'm going to use these to document my fantasy adventures of me, Luke, Resus, Cleo, Bluey and Bingo.
This is a snazzy card that Carol sent me. It contains three balloons that are like glittery girly versions of the balloons from Bruce's lair in Finding Nemo.
COLOURED PENS! LOADS AND LOADS OF 'EM!
A whole stack of Dork Diaries books. SQUEEEEEE!!
Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. This yellow book is very different from the film on Disney+. Have a read if you have the book at home!Dork Diaries: Drama Queen. The book starts out normally, with Nikki narrating her daily life, when all of a sudden her arch-nemesis Mackenzie bursts in and takes over. Love the exotic leopard prints on the cover!
Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Old School. Well, I haven't read it yet.
Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel. The book starts out describing Greg's life story from when he was born, something we haven't heard of before.
Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Wrecking Ball. I've always wanted this book ever since I visited the bookshop in Dornoch and saw it on sale in early 2020 last year.I Totally Got This. I'm going to use this as a bedside diary...my third of three.Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Getaway. I'm naming it my favourite Diary Of A Wimpy Kid book - there are so many iconic moments, like the shower's 'Rainfall' mode. If it were ever made into a movie, I'd be the one to pitch the script.Oh, I'm Just Getting Started. My second bedside journal/diary.Dork Diaries. The original and best. I must say, the part where Nikki's mum showers Brianna with Disney movies and the new Princess Sugar Plum computer game really catches onto me, but my eye definitely catches the part where Nikki falls over and drops her lunch in the dining hall.Dork Diaries: Once Upon A Dork. I'm starting to think of this as my favourite Dork Diaries book, mainly because it has a fantasy element that departs from the others, is similar to Jody In Wonderland and features a world you can visit again and again. The Memory Hoarder's Journal. The TV episode section catches my eye, but I maaaaybe need to figure out how to do the rest. After all, I'm thankful for what I've got!I Gotta Have Hope. The first bedside diary I'm doing, starting TONIGHT!The Happiness Project Journal. Like One Line A Day, you can do this for whatever year you fancy, and each page has a quote or prompt. Today, for instance, has a quote from Buddha. There's a Buddhist story called The Steadfast Parrot, you can watch it being read as part of the Treasure Champs episode 'Loyalty' here. There's something special about this birthday card. It's not because of the cute illustrations, but it's because of the £10 note inside. I got pens from Amazon with this £10, and I still think the dogs jumping out of the present box are cute. This is the pizza I had for my birthday lunch. Usually I go out for takeaway pizza at Domino's in Inverness with my support worker, but due to the pandemic, I had to have my pizza right here at home! And finally, here are two slices of cake. I had the Victoria Sponge one, and made a wish upon the candles that Scream Street would return to CBBC. Please please please....anyway, the cake looks delicious!
And to all those reaching the age of 21 this year, I hope your twenties are times best looked forward too, even during Covid!
Awesome presents and cake, I hope you are having a fantastic birthday, you certainly have many things to keep you busy!!!
