I had an idea to finally put Scooby Doo into Me, You, And... . Just like how they did with the Zombie Island and 13th Ghost stories, I've decided to rework the Reluctant Werewolf story to include Furaha and her family meeting Scooby, Shaggy and Scrappy on a day trip to the city. Furaha tries a special sun cream which turns her into a white dog, similar to when Shaggy turns into a werewolf. Her new form is similar to Scooby's girlfriend from the old series, Scooby Dee. Here's the form:
We will also meet a part of the Monster Road Rally gang who's stayed a werewolf since the age of three, named Eleanor Lupius III, or Ellie as the others call her. Ellie was raised the monsters by order of Dracula, who took her from her parents' house when she was only three years old. The monsters kidnap the family and it's up to Furaha to find a special clean magic water that'll change her to a lioness cub again and team up with Ellie to help Scooby, Shaggy and Scrappy and save the family from being turned to hideous monsters. The music will be composed by Paul Taylor, who did the music for the 2001 Bill & Ben series, and Dave Metzger, who was one of three composers for Brother Bear 2. So, you'll be hearing a mix of the quirky music for Bill & Ben and the Native American rhythms used for Brother Bear. By the way, the original version of the film is airing on Boomerang this Friday night so it gives me a great opportunity to do a big full length blog entry telling you all about what to expect in the film. It'll be - what else - a hoooowwwwling good time!
