A pretty brutal deleted scene in the first rap in 'Scouts' sees Evan being pushed into a vat of burning oil by an evil chip vendor, and then emerged with torn-up clothing and in a new, horrible and grotesque image. The producers found this too brutal and scary for children, and decide to replace these scenes with images of the students protesting over chips - what's more, a local chip company complained that it was putting kids off eating chips, which was good as they are starting to eat healthier stuff. Another scene in the next rap featured Amber screaming "Oh ****!" at the camera, but the producers also found it too offensive for children's television and cut this raunchy scene out.
