Two raps in this episode were under controversy this time: the first rap was originally going to contain usage of swearing, including presence of the 'F' word. The producers found this too adult for a show like the 4 O'Clock Club, and replaced the swear words with different words to make it more kid-friendly. The second rap was also going to contain a scene with Mr. Bell drinking at a pub and smashing beer bottles on the counter, but it was written out in fear that it might encourage children to get drunk.
