A friendship with Luke, Resus and Cleo is one of the best things I could wish for - ever since 2018, I have embraced my autism thanks to the residents of the street, and the three main characters who inhabit it, who have become my best friends after a little getting used to at first. Although I hang out with Luke, Resus and Cleo in my imagination, today I'm thinking about adding Luella into the mix. If you're going on a car ride with Luke, Resus and Cleo as your passengers, you ignore Luella after a few stops, you take the wheel and joke around as you drive, Luella keeps waiting for you at every toilet and food stop. The fifth time you make a stop, Luella is STILL waiting for you. Here's the conversation you'd have with Luella:
LUELLA: OMG, this is the last time, can you at least let me into your taxi cab? I need a lift.
RESUS: (whispering into my ear) I think this is because of me.
ME: Right, Resus. (to Luella) Hey, uh, can you let Resus move over?
LUELLA: Finally!
ME: And about time, too, you have been waiting for at least four stops, and we've only stopped about four times for food and a toilet break so....fancy a ride in my digs, Luella?
ALL FOUR: Yeah!
ME: Then let's go!
This is how you'd except Luella into your ride. Even though I love Luke, Resus and Cleo, I love Luella, too, so the car ride scenario is how you'd accept Luella into the gang. So whatever you're doing whether you're going out or staying in, friendship is the best medicine, a cure for loneliness. Whenever I see 'Monsters Of Rock', I feel Luella feels left out of our antics and has the rights to join us - anyone can join a gang whether they feel discriminated by others or not. Luke, Resus, Cleo and Luella are the best friends any CBBC viewer could have, and since 2015 Scream Street has embraced the true meaning of friendship-themed shows, and so has Strange Hill High. Both shows have three main characters, which happen to be my favourites, but with Scream Street, I feel Luella should really become a member of the gang. It's okay, Luella, there's always a second chance.
