Scream Street Thought Of The Day - Banished
Hugs are very easy to try out - that's what the residents of Scream Street think, I'd adore a hug from Luke, Resus or Cleo anytime, or any of their friends or relatives for that matter. Hugs like these are warm and cosy and make Scream Street more of a place to spend eleven minutes' peace than a place full of frights. Hugs with Resus are very gentle and soft, as he is very sensitive. A hug with Cleo is sisterly and yet sometimes hard and playful. Hugging Luke means a romantic gaze into his eyes - well, for me, literally. Hugs with the trio are the best you could ever wish for if you happen to be a CBBC viewer who loves Scream Street as much as I do, but what if you could hug the residents one by one? All of them are pleasant to hug, even the unpleasant ones like Doug, even though him wrapping his arms round you means his arms still hold onto your T-shirt, and Lulu, who even though she is very slimy deserves to be picked up and cuddled like a dog like Dig. However, there are some residents you might not want to hug: take Sir Otto Sneer for example, if you hug him, he'll revolt and cry "Get away from me!" as he doesn't like hugs - but Dixon and No Name do, much to his annoyance. The goblins are also the kind of Scream Street residents not to hug, as hugging them hard would release amounts of farty gas, and then you'd choke to death. So, no hugging Sir Otto Sneer or goblins - but you can hug other residents too, such as Niles, Dr. Skulley, Eefa, Luella and lots lots more. Hugs bring kindness to even a wrecked, sick street and might want to last forever if you want to hug for 4,000 years if you're Cleo and you're still living in Egypt 4,000 years ago. If you want, you can also hug the Gatekeeper, as he's a lonely old soul with no friends who stands in the forest by himself guarding the Underlands for days and days and days. But to me, the best people in Scream Street to hug are of course Luke, Resus and Cleo, because they're my best friends and best friends all deserve a hug whether there's a bad time or a time to go to bed or anytime. I dream of hugging Luke, Resus and Cleo themselves, and hugging the other residents too. But with me around Luke, Resus and Cleo, you know what this calls for? A group hug!
