What Happy Bear Loves...

Happy Bear loves ocean bands like the one in my new book The Whale Who Wanted More, and recommends kids watch the 1995 Mr Men & Little Miss series instead of Cocomelon, or Peppa Pig, or Fireman Sam, or Paw Patrol.

Recipe Prompt: Birthday Cake!

How would you make a birthday cake? In celebration of my birthday today, use all your cooking skills (or, if you aren't good at cooking, use your drawing skills) to make a birthday cake in your design. It could be a certain flavour like chocolate or vanilla, or you could make the most amazing, spectacular one yet, with maybe for example THREE TIERS!

Lady Penelope's Heavenly Terrain

I tried asking Lady Penelope the question I asked Robert, and she said she would live in a little cottage in the middle of the countryside, deserted, away from villages and towns and cities, with just me for companies. She would run out into the meadow with me every day, and we would explore our natural surroundings without anything on. Because...nature. Anyway, Lady Penelope's favourite part of resting in this heavenly part of nature is sitting with me by the river. We'd dip our toes into the water and feel the minnows tickle us. Sometimes Lady Penelope turned her smooth hands into fish, and make it swim along beside me and nibble tidbits while I laughed. What I'd give to be a homeschooled toddler living in nature....

Robert At The Beach

Robert the robot has always wanted a view of the Australian beaches from his bedroom window. He doesn't want a view of Bondi Beach, because it really is too crowded, but if Space City was located near the beach, he's in for gazing at the beautiful white sand, the crystal blue water and the kangaroos and wallabies hopping and bounding about.

Hey, Tails, What Are You Thankful For?

Tails here is thankful for these three things, which he has learnt to cherish every day:
  1. Sonic & Knuckles
  2. Decoe & Bocoe
  3. Sharing chilli dogs with Sonic

Sir Squeakalot's Mourning Suggestion

My birthday began with sad news: Slomo was killed yesterday. Tragic, I know. Luckily, Sir Squeakalot came to me and suggested I should write a graveyard memorial poem for him - you know, like the ones Ben & Jerry's puts up on their gravestones in their flavour graveyard. Now that's a nice I'd look forward to until they finally have the strength and courage to rebuild him for next week's episode.

Drawing Prompt: Keep Slomo Safe Tonight

Draw a beautiful picture of Slomo somewhere safe, warm and sound where he can be surrounded by people who care for him, necessities which can calm him and an atmosphere that can comfort him. Draw this scene and colour it in your calmest, cosiest colours.

Tell me about your drawing and further detail about it in the comments when you've finished.

Song Prompt: Stan's Hit Single

Write a top selling hit single for Stan, my support worker's dog, named 'I'm A Dog, What Am I Supposed To Do?' which is about how fat he is and how he needs exercise.
Send me your lyrics in the comments or via email!

Writing Prompt: Furaha, Orko, Timon & Pumbaa

Furaha, Orko and their friends Timon and Pumbaa are going for a swim in the lake, but Furaha floats downstream and gets caught by Pumbaa when falling down a waterfall. What happens next?
Write down your versions of the story in the comments!

Stingray Marine Moments Ep.1: Titan Hears The News

TITAN: The news is finally out, X20! I'm so happy, I'm not going to plot anything evil!

X20: What is it, oh mighty Titan?

TITAN: It is finally out after two weeks of waiting. It, is the STINGRAY DEADLY UPRISING COMIC ANTHOLOGY!!

X20: My word! That is good news, Titan.

TITAN: I'm finally back in business! All those attempts at getting trendy are really starting to get on my nerves. I don't like those diverse new adverts, but, misteree, it's the only way to cope after the death of George Floyd.

X20: Who's George Floyd?

TITAN: Nobody. What matters most is we accomplished this terrific milestone together, and that's all there is to it. Now get me the kale champagne, we're going to celebrate!

X20: Yes, mighty Titan.

Poor Slomo...

Bad news....in tomorrow's episode of Space Precinct, Slomo will get his head ripped off. There's no telling what will lie in wait for him as we tremble in fear over how he will get his head back on. The only way to do that is to pray to God for him again and try this during wind down time, and somehow or rather, good things will happen all day ever day.

Marina Has Something To Say....

"....."
What Marina is trying to say is, I wrote to the London cat cafe Whiskers & Cream, and they replied back instantly, stating that Jasper and Basil are their cuddliest cats in the cafe. Aaaaaaawwww, pussies!

Ol' Caboo Boat - Chapter 1

It was a lovely, sunny day when I woke up on my 'Caboo Houseboat'. Lady Penelope gently woke me up with a nice, nourishing breakfast of bacon and eggs before she started homeschooling me on the subject of maths. Maths is subject I normally didn't want to do, but mummy knew how to make it even more fun. She helped me sing songs to remember my times tables, my sums, adding and subtracting, to the tunes of various sea shanties. During breaks, she taught me how to play those sea shanties on her penny whistle. At sundown, we played Go Fish (no pun intended) on the table on deck.
