Peacock Mama

I've had quite a hectic day today, what with one thing after another. It all started when my support worker took me out. While driving me to her house, she told me she had an orphan peacock named Finn, whose mother abandoned him and he almost died hungry, but my support worker took him under her wing (no pun intended). I couldn't wait to see Finn, and he was so cute! My support worker kept reminding him not to jump or fall off the table, and kept giving him bits of bird food and bacon. Finn was refusing to eat, so I wrote a story called My Baby Likes Bacon. In My Baby Likes Bacon, Cleo narrates how she and her brothers Luke and Resus got baby me to eat my baby food. My support worker described my stories as 'magic' - Mum said she could smell lavender reading Soothing Lavender, and now Finn got to eat thanks to My Baby Likes Bacon!

Next, we went to my support worker's neighbour's garden and befriended two geese named Mildred and George. The neighbour kept making 'peep-peep' noises at the geese, who honked and made the cutest little noises. She also showed me the wide sea from atop the hill - I live far away, and my grandma and mum only live on the other side of Scotland! When we got back I had to look after Finn at various intervals, and I enjoyed it. He kept climbing all over me and onto my shoulders! He tugged at my hair and pecked my shoulders, and I was laughing all the time. Finn thought I was his mum! Now all we need is a dad. What about Luke? He could be the best dad in the world - except when he gets angry. Then he could be the best werewolf dad in the world!

On the way home, we picked up a magazine. It was Go Girl, and it had pages full of features on Buzz Lightyear, Sam & Cat, Pokemon, The Babysitter's Club, MrBeast and of course the Minions. I failed to get a copy of Mega magazine because the current issue had a Minion on the cover and something to do with Minions: The Rise Of Gru. Of course, people were banned from seeing the film because of the disruptive behaviour they caused, but that wasn't something to do with disaster caused on the set of the Wizards Of Waverly Place. Mind you, there is a nice bit in the mag which showcases all the things you would wish for, like a squishy chips plush, Barbie scented nail polish, a flamingo t-shirt and a pineapple pink swimming costume! Hopefully, I'll ask my support worker to get me a Mega magazine next week....

Up To It

It's really simple, really...I'd pick....er.....my books! I know how important reading is, and with Scream Street, no tech and just eyes on the page can give you ideas for new stories!

Underneath Forever/Regarding Lulu/Cheeseburger/Skin

I have four new ideas, but since it's past the school leaving time, I'd save them for later.

First, there's Underneath Forever. It's another luxurious story set in the jungle, with Resus feeling like he doesn't belong in such a beautiful place. I reassure him that it's okay to feel certain emotions, and that he does belong in such a wild place, surviving and playing with his friends. Regarding Lulu is basically an interview with Resus' pet leech about how she feels when the family are away. Cheeseburger is a remake of the story from Dirty Bertie: Pirate, named Burger, based on my trip to McDonald's today, where we get to review a McDonald's restaurant due to Sue's new job. Finally, Skin is a deliciously sensual story featuring me, Luke, Resus, Cleo, Luella and Six at a thermal spa. I'll do all these and more soon, so watch out!

McDonald's Forever!

These are the photos from my recent trip to McDonald's today. Boy, was it great! I had some chicken nuggets, French fries and a Coke with a Happy Meal. Best of all, we had it in the car. Makes it worth avoiding going in where there's lots of screaming kids. Here's to the best meal I've ever had since my outings at Domino's Pizza!

What's The Point About Kinnerton?

Well, today wasn't as boring as I hoped it would be! The morning was spent doing some writing in my notebook, looking at the Scream Street Twitter page (and trying to avoid Season 2) and watching a video about Kinnerton on Youtube. If you didn't know, Kinnerton was a chocolate company who made chocolates based on Bob The Builder, Tweenies and Fimbles. I wish Kinnerton did Scream Street chocolates - I know they already do Bluey, but what's the point on getting ready for the big event when its second season is the worst you'll see on CBBC to date? The first season is great, and so is the joke book, but Season 2? '2' unsettling. Geddit?! Ha! Anyway, I had a shower to prepare for going out tomorrow, and while I was in there an idea formed in my head: a new idea for a story about cuddles! This resulted in Cuddle Monsters, a story set at the beach about playing with the big kids, who desperately want a cuddle from a little kid. Aren't cuddles the best? Mmmm, boy, sure they are! I will no longer be bored, because I'll be doing mind maps and going out again! Woohoo!

Friendship Stories: Cuddle Monsters

One day on the beach, I was lying on my beach towel soaking up the warm Summer sun. My mother was chatting with the other parents on the other side of the beach. “Ah, what a lovely day,” I sighed, stretching out and snuggling in the warm sunshine. Suddenly, I heard a growly voice sounding like Six’s growl: “I want a cuddle!” It was followed by a scream. Winston was running along the beach, looking as if he was out of breath. “What’s the matter, Winston?” I asked. “You have to look out. There are Cuddle Monsters along the beach! They are here to cuddle up to anyone who doesn’t watch out. Take good care out there!” Winston ran off, waving his arms wildly in the air.

“Cuddle Monsters? Ah, it’s just another pretend game they’ve made up.” So it was. From behind a tent, some familiar faces popped up. It was Luke, Resus, Cleo, Luella and Six, with sneaky looks on their faces, ready to cuddle anyone who can’t get away in time. “She sounds like a perfect target!” growled Luella. “Let’s cuddle her!” The five monsters snuck up to me, sniggering and laughing. Just while I was lying and relaxing, my brothers, sister, friend and cousin pounced onto me, ready for a big cuddle. “Aaaah! Get off me!” I cried, laughing. “Cuddle Monsters! Help!” Wriggling and struggling, I pulled free and ran down the beach, screaming hysterically. The monsters chased after me, but I just managed to hide behind a rock.

I was safe behind there, and I breathed a sigh of relief. But the Cuddle Monsters were not ready to give up just yet. They snuck out from behind the rock and…they swept me up, cuddling me playfully. “Aaaah!!” I screamed, “Stop!” “We can’t stop!” growled Cleo, “We’re cuddle monsters!” “Cuddling is our rightful job!” growled Resus. There was no escape, but I didn’t care, I burst out of their grip and ran down the beach. “Get them!” growled Luke, and they set off in my direction. I hadn’t gone too far when I saw Uncle Rad and Frisky relaxing on the beach. I ran towards them and collapsed in the middle of them, waking them suddenly. “You have to help me, guys,” I panted, “I’m under attack from Cuddle Monsters!” “Cuddle Monsters? What are they?” asked Frisky. “Them,” I said, pointing. The Cuddle Monsters were wandering across the beach, searching for me. “They’re going to find me any minute!” I cried. “Don’t worry, Sybs, this happens to us sometimes,” said Uncle Rad, “But you know what? If you just let the Cuddle Monsters do their job, then you will tame them.” “How can cuddling tame cuddle monsters?” I asked, confused. “You enjoy being cuddled, right? That’s called Good Touch.” “Bad touch is when somebody touches your privates without warning.” added Frisky. “No way!” I said, “My brothers, sister and cousin would never touch me like that!” “I know they don’t, but it’s only a game.” said Uncle Rad.

“It’s only a game, it’s only a game,” I repeated. Following Uncle Rad’s advice, I trudged back to the beach and lay back down on my towel, waiting for the cuddle monsters to come. I waited…and waited…and waited. When I got up, I looked everywhere for the cuddle monsters, but they were paddling in the water, splashing each other like crazy. “Paddle Monsters?” I asked. My mood suddenly changed. I loved a good paddle. I raced into the water and joined in. I splashed everyone, laughing and happily squealing with joy. I knocked Luke, Resus and Cleo over in the water and shared with them the first proper, good touched cuddle they’ve had all day.

In fact, I must tell you, I love cuddling with my siblings and cousin. It really soothes me…and I hope cuddles soothe you too.

Star Wars: Have A Laugh: Burnt Toast

Have A Laugh is a series of crazy Star Wars themed shorts based on a Star Wars Joke Book I've found. Here is one of them!

Darth Vader is in the kitchen cooking breakfast.

He waits patiently for his toast.

Burnt toast is his favourite.

Suddenly, the fire alarm goes off!

Stormtroopers run around screaming and shouting.

"Lord Vader! Did you start this?"

"Leave me to have breakfast in peace!"

SLAM!

Now the Stormtroopers are confused.

It wasn't a fire at all.

It was Darth Vader's toast!

All black and crispy, just as he likes it.

Darth Vader slathers it with butter.

Mmmmmmm! It's yummy. (for a Sith lord.....)

Welcome To The Jungle: Promised Falls

I live in the jungle with my family.

They love me so much!

I have lots of siblings and caring adult figures.

I'm glad to be in this family.

We wear no clothes.

The jungle is our true home.

One night, I had a dream.

I am running through the jungle.

My bare feet touch the soft grass.

I peer through the thick leaves.

I see the most beautiful sight.

A big waterfall.

This is Promised Falls.

A beautiful place of tranquil water.

Suddenly, a jaguar leaps out!

Why I Love Bluey

Well, CBeebies, here's why I love Bluey:
Bluey is more than just a preschool show, it's a show for parents too. It focuses on the power of play and spending time with family and friends. Now that Bluey is coming back, I have one thing to say: it's better than Our Family anyway! Click here to find out how you can tell CBeebies what your favourite thing about Bluey is!

Behind Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers (My Version)

The first thing that gave me a sense of excitement this year was Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, and its amazing animation-live action hybrid style. Two months later, I have thought of a new story about expressing my excitement for Bluey, Book Of Pooh, Lego Star Wars and Scream Street - a story set during the Chip N Dale movie. In the story, Luke, Resus, Cleo, Bluey, Bingo and I are roommates who travel around the UK filming Scream Street and Bluey and selling books based on these two shows. We are part of X-Citecon, a convention touring around the world, appearing in conventions and talking about exciting things that are happening. In this story, X-Citecon comes to Los Angeles in America to promote the new things that are coming soon. Characters from The Book Of Pooh and Lego Star Wars appear during the convention and help us when Montgomery Jack gets kidnapped by the Valley Gang. We join Chip and Dale in solving the mystery, but we ride our X-Citecon tour bus to any place with the help of the head of X-Citecon, Pinkie Pie. Any kind of story set at X-Citecon means one thing: satire.

Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers (My Version)

Luke, Resus, Cleo, Bluey, Bingo and I are roommates. We’ve been this way ever since I was born. In fact, they’re almost like siblings to me. My mum was an expert filmmaker under contract from the BBC, but we didn’t mind. We’d share in everything together. We played games. We rode our bikes in the park. We even shared pieces of chocolate cake after tea. Even though I’m only six, I am lucky enough to have a job that no child has ever done before - filming TV series. I often get my roommates to star in my series.

Back in 2015, a Scream Street TV series was commissioned. Factory Create, a studio in Manchester, filmed a pilot with a silent stand in to replace the real Luke, but then when the pilot was pitched to the BBC, they loved it, and recruited my roommates to star in Scream Street. The series became a massive success, airing on CBBC starting from Halloween of that year. It aired all year, every year, and spawned a fandom of nearly 1,000. It became the top-rated programme on CBBC, and no other show like it had aired on the network before - apart from Strange Hill High of course.

In fact, Scream Street became so successful the show became part of a travelling convention named X-Citecon. If you don’t know what X-Citecon is, X-Citecon is a convention which travels around the world delivering exciting things that are coming up each year. We sit at our stand selling Scream Street T-shirts and TV tie in books such as Negatives Attract and Uninvited Guests, while our manager Pinkie Pie goes around, looking at the stands and introducing those who have come to speak about the new exciting things on stage. The reason why we joined the convention was because Scream Street was labelled ‘The Most Exciting TV Series In The World Ever’ by critics. People loved the everyday situations my roommates got into.

But from 2018 to 2020, the series took a break. Luke, Resus and Cleo desperately needed it, but it was Bluey and Bingo’s time to shine, invited to Australia to film their show Bluey. Their parents were played by two Heeler dog actors. Instantly, Bluey became an instant hit with preschoolers and was the next exciting thing - it actually became a sensation in Australia too. People would look at Bluey and say, “Can I have your autograph, Bluey?” or “You’re the best cartoon dog ever!” Children would run up to Bluey and hug her.

However, the trouble for Scream Street began when the show returned to CBBC in October 2021. CBBC was experiencing major backlash because Scream Street wasn’t airing, and as a result, they started to heavily advertise iPlayer and only air the show on Halloween from now on. Whenever the second series, which featured a beloved character named Six and an even more beloved scientist named Dr F, came onto giant screens in the city, everyone was booing the show, including us, because there were other actors playing Luke, Resus and Cleo in the series. CBBC experienced low ratings already, thank god.

Things I'm Excited For In Late 2022

There's a lot to get excited for in 2022!
