Countdown To Bluey With Scream Street - The Evil Ooze
Hi, everyone! Resus here! Welcome to a new event on this blog - Countdown To Bluey, with Scream Street! In celebration of Bluey's 11 new episodes coming to ABC Kids in Australia next month, the other residents of Scream Street and I are giving you a classic Scream Street episode each day. To start with, the time Luella and I saved the entire town from the wrath of an ooze seeping from the Underlands! And trust me, Cleo's growl and all those dreadful puns we made during the escape will make you groan with laughter.

Bluey's Back, Yo!

A Dumbo & Lion King II Movie Party!
Luke, Resus, Cleo, Bluey, Bingo and I hosted a Dumbo/Lion King II movie party in the backyard! We invited all our friends, and especially Simba, Kiara, Kovu, Timon and Pumbaa, when they heard they were the guests of honour. Most of our time was spent watching Dumbo. Some of us cried when Dumbo was with his mother. Another quarter of our time was spent watching The Lion King II, although Timon and Pumbaa wished they'd go to Upendi and spend some time with Baloo!
Following that, there was a Dumbo bubble machine, some face paints (Timon and Pumbaa wanted their faces painted to look like Zazu and Bagheera) and a cake with a picture of Dumbo on it and tints of pink. We baked the Dumbo cake with the help of Chilli.

This mother threw a Dumbo party for her daughter. I only put this up on my blog because I'm mad about The Lion King, because this little girl's little brother got a Lion King II DVD. The Dumbo cake made for the party also looks delicious, like the one above!

Luke, Resus, Cleo, Bluey, Bingo & I Make Our Own Escape Story!
Luke, Resus, Cleo, Bluey, Bingo and I were watching the Bluey episode 'Escape' on Disney+, and just at that point we decided to make up our own Escape story...this time, we're escaping from Danger Mouse and all his friends!
We thought up a lot of crazy ideas with the help of the Cool Australia 'Escape - Storytelling' worksheet, which was originally aimed for teachers.
We still included a dream house car, but we included lots of other ideas too, such as a bouncy castle, a unicorn, sliming, a magical forest, an appearance from characters from The Lion King, a dinosaur, a jungle, a medieval princess castle, an airplane, a jumbo jet with missiles, a carousel and bumper cars and a candyfloss waterfall!

This is based on my hate for CBBC since its focus is mainly on cartoons and not British-related content. Sophie and her friends are bored with their favourite shows Mable Hills and Princess Storytime being off the air on weekends and replaced with terrible cartoons, so they dream up a world where they can escape from the horror of the cartoons and relax...but they're on their tails!
