Odd Recall

Last Saturday while watching one of the Odd Squad segments on Saturday Mash Up, it involved a knight made out of rock who made roaring noises that are identical to that of Luke's werewolf form in Scream Street. Just like what happened to my friend Nothing in the clip above, the Mobile Unit Squad trying to fight off the knight brought happy memories of when Resus and Cleo used Luke's werewolf to get out of a devious monster house. I miss them already...😔

Watch last week's Saturday Mash Up on iPlayer (feel free to skip the Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese parts):

Introducing...Nana!

Dad is dumb, Mum is smart, but Nana is wise as the ones you'd look to and let bake a whole batch of chocolate cookies. It's here on the CBeebies website that she makes her first appearance on a video call, and this is an exact representation of what happens these days when your kids Zoom call! I promise that someday, the episode 'Grannies' will air on CBeebies, I trust you.

Okay, Now You're Really Into Bitesize - Why I Love Bluey Essay Sheet

The beautiful music that fits each game Bluey plays. The importance of play and spending time with family and friends. The squeals of laughter coming from Bluey and Bingo as they have fun with their friends and family. These are a few things I like about Bluey. How about you? This exclusive activity sheet is available for you to print out and talk about why you love Bluey on CBeebies in your own words.

The Happiness Project - 2021 - 9.5.21

I got a swollen head and nearly stopped breathing because I was colouring too much.

One Line A Day - 2021 - 9.5.21

Too much colouring is making my head swell up. It's also nearly causing me to stop breathing. Colouring is DEADLY!

Express Yourself - 9.5.21

I feel like my head is swelling up from doing too much colouring. Maybe it's just my hormones relaxing....

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Journal - 9.5.21

It's been three weeks, and CBeebies has been using Bluey to teach parents and children about exploring, pranks, brotherhood, LGBTQ rights, peace, friendship, growing up and freedom through everyday play. Just the sort of lessons kids want to learn, and those three weeks have been great.

I have a swollen head from doing too much colouring!

I also have a plan to watch 10 of my favourite things on Disney+ as Glamour Magazine suggests, one of these things is Pixar Pop Corn, which is an anthology series that saw Pixar's characters getting into all sorts of hijinks, from dancing to doing household chores. I'm watching Bluey first though.

Dork Diaries: OMG: All About Me - 9.5.21 [Year 1]

The truth that I wet my pants and wore football knickers, and a dare to toilet paper someone's house.

The Happiness Journal - 2021 - 8.5.21

I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Getaway in less than three hours. I want to try the banana boat and the outdoor shower.

One Line A Day - 2021 - 8.5.21

This morning, I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Getaway. I love the bit where Greg tries the 'Rainfall' mode on the outdoor shower.

Express Yourself - 8.5.21

I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Getaway this morning, and I did it once again in less than three hours.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Journal - 8.5.21

This morning I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Getaway, and I have to say it is a pretty good read. Like Dork Diaries, I read it in less than three hours until 9 O'Clock. There are a lot of great moments in the book, like Greg trying out the outdoor shower's 'Rainfall' mode.

My favourite illustrations are ones which showed the 'Greg Heffley Bathrobe Fighting Squad' consisting of references to Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings and what might possibly be Scooby Doo & The Samurai Sword....

...and an illustration which showed that humans eat fish, eggs, lobsters, hens, cows, fruit and vegetables, but on Isla De Corales, it's the food pyramid in reverse. Hey, I'm writing in a Wimpy Kid property right now!

Dork Diaries: OMG: All About Me - 8.5.21 [Year 1]

I'd pick 'Truth' because I'd like to get to the 'Who Would You Rather Kiss' part. I hope I get to kiss Luke!
